Well, it looks like Kotobukiya's doing doing plamo kits of them. Highly unexpected but cool none the less.

Cool.I used to have Metabee, Rokusho and Arc Beetle. I like that you put the armour on the inner metal skeleton (called tin pets IIRC). I also had the RPG for the GBA. Loved that game's combat system.

I still have my snap togethor Metabee from back in the day. It came with a skeleton bot that encased in Metabee parts and you could even put the chip thing in his back. I miss this show.

Out of all the "anime kids collect things and take them WAY too seriously" crazes that have gone on, Medabots was the coolest to me, because they were little robots that got in fights for parts. I had one the kits that was a skeleton, and then you assembled armour onto them, and two or three of the tiny little swapable ones.

I always regretted not picking up those deluxe armour-up sets when they were in stores, and now they're impossible to find.

Kotobukiya does pretty decent kit work, so I'm eagerly anticipating these. Metabee, Rokusho, and Arcbeetle, and I'm freakin' there.

Wonder if they'll bother replicating the Tin Pet or not? While easily doable, that thin wiry frame in plastic doesn't exactly inspire confidence, and parts-swapping isn't as simple if it relies on snap-on armour, rather than straight limb-swapping. So I wonder what they'll do.

Man, I used to love this show! I'll definitely be on the lookout for a Rokusho if one comes out (and I don't see a reason why not).

    Medabots, robattle! :D

Medabots was one of my favorite cartoons as a kid. Wish it was still around.

Medabots was an awesome concept and show. Medabee, who I'm assuming is the first bot we'll be getting a kit of, was a hilarious and badass main character. Rokusho is another fantastic design, and equally complex in the show. Not sure about Arcbeetle, but the Type Sabertooth Medabot owned by Ikki's rival was so cool looking and I hope it gets a kit, and another one of my personal favorites, Peppercat, had better get some treatment!

His dub actor was absolutely stellar. "Dude, I rock! Kiss your 'bot GOODBYE!"

He was the one favoured by Space Medafighter X, that could focus an intense electric arc between the massive horn on its head, and the one on its chest, creating the devastating beam attack "Prominence".

The Medabot owned by Ikki's rival was Sumilidon.

Also, that new Kabuto type Medabot isn't Metabee. It's going to be a Yellow Beetle type of Medabot, but it won't be called Metabee.

I still have my Metabee, Rokusho, and Sumilidon figures. :D

Of course they have all seen better days.......and Rokusho no longer sees his horns when he looks in a mirror......but I still have them!

Awwwwww yea!! I loved Medabots when I was a kid. I cannot wait to see if this will lead to an eventual sequel/remake anime series! : D

Thats the new Kabutomushi from the Medarot DS game. Basically a new Metabee in everything but name. And if this is popular, they'lll probably do Kuwagata too (Rokusho). But dont expect any of our old favourites :( .

    Heres what they look like...

Gun Nose (Kabuto) and Sanjuro (Kuwagata). I am disappointed.

Kabutomushi doesn't look too bad, it's the Rokusho one that leaves me wanting... D: What's with the eyes showing through the visor? It's just... ugly looking...

I just hope they make a rendition of Arcbeetle.. I never got a chance of getting the Arcbeetle + Tin Pet, and the likelyhood of finding someone selling it is basically improbable..
