Can't blame 'em. Predaking is going to sell big time. I'm just glad I preordered mine when it was 179.

Look at it this way, it makes 5% off clearance possible years later

2. I'm amazed it wasn't this high or higher in the first place. Look at the listed domestic price in yen. Convert it to dollars. It's about $179. BBTS was nuckng futs to list it at that cost. When I saw that I preordered the hell out of it, and they are honoring their original price for me.

This is a fair price. it was honestly pretty crazy for them to offer it at the original 179.

I understand it's fun to complain, but damn, pick your battles.

 

Also, if you pre ordered it for the $179.99 (like I did) they will honor that price. BTW I paid $230 + shipping for the first reissue of Predaking. $199 is still a good price.

 

I thought this was disscussed to death with the Reissue Seacons. BBTS has to make a profit off toys they sell to remain in business. They are not on the net to give away toys at cost. Start a business and sell things at cost, let me know how that turns out.

 

Agreed. It's called supply and demand. BBTS is not the only one. Robotkingdom also raises prices or lowers prices as its stock change. When Unicron first came out it was $99.90. Now it's $109.90. As TFSource's supply of it's own exclusive White Superion add-on ran low they bumped the price from $50 to $100.

Also, these stores should be commended for what do. BBTS honors whatever price you pre-order its items at. When Robotkingdom lowered the price of its Henkei Dark Skyfire significantly they contacted me and offered me a refund on my pre-order.

 

HMMM... if it were anyone else they would be called a scalper.

 

So let me get this straight? From some of the known photos, the display card shows ¥15,750 for Predaking 2010 reissue. At the currant currency exchange rate, it is $180-181USD bought in Japan. I see nothing wrong with the price hike.

 

at any rate, i'll be at the corner of Third and Delaware with dark glasses, cane and tin cup with pencils to sell. (is $3 expensive for a pencil?)

i won't knock BBTS for this. my only gripe in the past was their occasional charing $30 for a RotF deluxe that came out.

god forbid this reissue drops the value of the previous reissue Predaking, i might be able to afford one and put my KO set in carbonite storage, lol.

shipping weight is like 7lbs so I assume it has some diecast. Just an assumption though.
