To be specific, I am personally looking forward to wave 2/3 of Generations, and PCCs. Wave 1, as we know, have been released and out in TRU for at least 2 weeks. I was wondering in general or maybe on average, how long is the time between the release of one wave and the next? any speculation from experience would help, thanks!
About 2-3 months between waves give or take(wave 2 of Generations is out in Singapore so it will be showing in the US soon)
hm... if that's true, if wave 2 comes in say, 2 weeks, that'd mean they left only about a 1 month gap between wave 1 and 2. I suppose that, the reason why I asked is because right now TRU is still having that buy 1 get 1 50% off deal until the 17th
At Botcon, Cybertronian Megatron had July 1st slated as his release and wave 1 as being already released. I think we could very well see them by the end of this month. I hope we see them sooner so I can take advantage of that sale!
Really? When was this? I just searched the S'pore sightings and didn't see anything there or FPed....
This is what I'm thinking too, but it's purely speculation on my part. The way things are going now I expect the stuff that's out now to hit "saturation" by the middle of August, and the second waves to have just started to be sighted with frequency by then as well - with scattered early sightings towards the end of July.
I was wondering this too, need to feed my PCC habit. BBTS has the new waves up for pre-order so when should we expect to see those? Also, which wave is first the new 2-packs and 5-packs, or the repainted 2-packs and 5-packs. I've told my gf jokingly that by the time everywhere else gets the PCC they will have gone straight to wave 2.
I asked this question last week, and the answer I got was that it depends on the toyline. For the movies the waves came in rapid succession (within weeks) to capitalize on the film being in theaters. For Universe the spacing was further (read: months) apart.
