My question is just that. I do buy off of ebay, bigbadtoystore, and I visit Toyarena. But I just don't feel comfortable with delivery companies leaving $500 packages at my front door. I'd rather actually visit the store. Not to mention if there's a problem, my vendor is local.

I have asked this before and got this as a reply:

Only place I know of. Maybe someone else can lead you in the right direction so I can check that place out as well.

Frank and Sons for Toy Arena is the only one I know of as well. That said, I'd stick to BBTS and their customer service (or anyone else) if you're concerned about getting help with defective bots vs Toy Arena.

I feel it's worth the drive to Frank & Sons just to see them in person. You can buy them online afterwards if you want. Admission and parking are free and there are a ton of other booths there selling just about every toy you can think of plus comics and other stuff.

Frank and son is obvious, but toyarena is the only store there that regularly sells 3rd party.

There's My D Pins in Anaheim. They sell some older transformers and other comic toys. They have 2 booths in Frank and sons too, but the stock there isn't as good as the physical location.

The book offs in orange county ate like Japanese pawn shops. You can sometimes find some transformers there, but it's usually more Japanese toys like gundams.

There's animeking if you're in Irvine. They have a small amount of Mp transformers, but they specialize more in gundams and figuarts.

The best thing to do is to post in the California sightings threads and ask the other locals where they shop.

There's usually a LA-area meetup I think @CURAMEN could help you get more info on, that seems to have a good following and lots of people swapping all kinds of TFs.
