Some of you guys may know I'm not a huge fan of the movie franchise, but I am still a Transformers fan who likes movies and I haven't seen a movie at the theatre since some friends dragged me to se Hancock. I am in the mood to make a trip to the Theare. Especially if it's IMAX. (Haven't been to one of those since I was a kid and it was only nature. Now giant Transformers with extra footage? I'm there!) I'm hoping since I've avoided all spoilers and any emotional association to it this time around that I would enjoy it. But here's the thing.. I think I would enjoy it more if I could go with some fellow Transformers fans on the forums. So... I'm trying to get a group together. Would anyone like to arrange a meetup in the DC/Baltimore area? (Possibly Columbia IMAX). Is anyone interested?

True that. I think there are plenty, it's just that they are all in hiding. How far from the Inner Harber are you? The AMC Imax's don't have a true big Imax screen. I was thinking about the Maryland Science Center since it's legit.

I'm about 20-30 minutes from the Harbor (haven't been to the Science Center since I was.. uh.. 8?) As far as free weekends go..I'm pretty much booked until the weekend of July 25th-26th. I work the graveyard shift--so I'm free on weekdays until 7:30pm (gotta be at work by 8).
Speaking of weekends that's pretty much the same situation for me too. Do you have any week days off?
