I was saying HASBRO should not promote furrieism to children.

    Let's see, where to begin?

For starters, it's ridiculous that you expect everyone to share your intolerant attitude towards others' way of life.

Then there's the Furry looking characters being the villains. You're not meant to agree with their ways.

Finally, as many others have pointed out before me, there have been countless characters in past series to have animal features in their robot modes.

Wait, what? Are you actually saying you think that because of one simple motif theme shared by the fictional robots of one cartoon, that somehow translates into Hasbro promoting furries?...you can not possibly be fucking serious about that.

Not to mention, aren't most of them animal-like specifically because they're subspecies of Cybertronian? Hammerstrike is a Sharkticon (with emphasis on the Shark part, though I think he's actually fairly faithful to the Sharkticon's beast-mode), Terrashock is a Buffaloid (a meh name as far I'm concerned, but it's nonetheless why he looks like a Bull), Minitron is a Cybertick (I'm guessing a type of Insecticon), Chop-Shop is a hive-mind Insecticon combiner (I know he wasn't identified as being at all related to the Insecticons, but still), etc.

Even though as I showed numerous examples of, what you are saying is promoting something you don't like...has been present in smaller quantities in this franchise from day one?

Beastwarsfan, you are seriously reaching in your attempts to justify your dislike of this show and of it's Decepticons. I prefer it when people actually give reasons to dislike a show, which by the way, there are plenty of reasons I can see why people would be put off by RID15. It's just that none of your reasons feel very...Well thought out.

I never hope a media portion of TRANSFORMERS fails.

I really wanted this show to simply be a continuation of Prime instead. I don't like the animation changes or the direction of the larger narrative.

That said, this show is doing some good things, and I like it, generally speaking.

i think it's a bit harsh to wish for RID(2015)to fail....G.I Joe Renegades Failed and look where that franchise is at now....

Exactly. Regardless of what you think of the series, there is nothing good in wanting this to fail. Same with the movies. If those flopped, I highly doubt you'll see Combiner Wars or worry about running out of money for all the awesome Masterpiece toys that show up every year.

I feel like with Beast Wars there was some solid reasoning behind having the animal look. We weren't dealing with Autobots and Decepticons any more but Maximals and Predacons. We were told that things had changed for the Cybertronians so now they were smaller. Crashing on a planet with no vehicles and having to take on animal modes it would almost seem strange not to take on some of that alt mode in robot mode.

Just to shorten this up you can make some logical arguments for it in Beast Wars.

RID doesn't feel like they have given us any solid reasons. It's supposed to be after the events of Transformers Prime but on Transformers Prime the Decepticons had the same sort of look as the Autobots. It's kind of jarring change from Starscream, Soundwave, Knockout to all the bad bots having an animal theme. If they were called Predacons I think I could roll with it but the sudden Decepticon design change just feels odd when something animal looking was more of the exception rather than the rule.

Something just feels not right about human themed robots hunting down animal themed robots to lock them in status pods because so far human themed seems to mean to good guys while animal themed seems to mean bad guys.

Come on, dude. When he initially went to "furries are ruining my cartoon and warping the minds of children" did you really think he'd listen to logic and reason?

Back when he first came around, I think, Beastwarsfan said his brother posted on his account, I think.
