Anyone else going to be using WFC Megatron as a classics Megatron stand in?

I am in the process of building back up my classics collection. Megatron is one of the ones I need but was figuring the WFC version would be a much cheaper option than Henkei Megs. What do you think?

Only if you're using WFC Optimus Prime for your collection. Otherwise, if you use Classics or Henkei Optimus Prime, he's going to tower over WFC Megatron.

I'm happy with my Classics Megs (as can be seen in sig) but i might use WFC Soundwave as a stand in for Classics.

No, Henkei Megatron is doing just fine in my Classics display. I'm not even entirely sure I'll be getting WfC Megatron, as I really wasn't impressed with the first two WfC figures.

WfC Megatron is a great toy, he's got quite a bit of bulk to him so next to the Classics Voyager Prime he doesn't seem to be all that much smaller. I'm of the mind that he's Megatron's "Cybertron mode" for Classics and that he upgrades to an "Earth mode" later on. Display-wise, that means the two get stood together.

Just knock out the pin that keeps it attached to the back. Yes, i can still have them on without the pin, the wings just clip on the back as per normal.

Unfortunately, no. He's too small. Must be Voyager size.
He looks amazing, though. Can't wait to get him!

I'm making a separate Classics shelf space that's Cybertron-modes only.

If it was Voyager size I totally would. I like the colors better than Classics. However, for the time being I probably won't be getting Megs. Soundwave, on the other hand, for the foreseeable future will be my Classics Soundwave (til they make a proper one).

Sort of part-WfC, part-Classics for me. It's a perfect 'pre-Earth' Classics Megs, and with there only being five known WfC toys, they'll stand on the Classics shelves alongside their Earth mode counterparts (aside from Soundwave, who's on his own).

You need classics backups? Like a second classics display in case the original one gets wiped out?

I'm getting WFC Megs and putting him where ever; he looks pretty badass to me.

I am getting him to display with the HTS SE Megs (for an Earth mode) and TFU Galvatron.
when i find him, he'll look good there.

I still have my Henkei Megs, and it is really a better fit size-wise with Classics Prime, but i don't see a nitpick here.
the fact that WfC Megs is outstanding satisfies me. as long as i have one, i don't care.

Could someone who already has WFC Megs post a picture of him with Classics Voyager Prime?

Having WFC Megatron shown with classics/universe/generations (this is for you anal retentive fans who don't like certain acronyms) Decepticons would be nice as well.
