I'm not a huge Star Wars guy, but something about the way he looks, his calm demeanor, and the fact that he isn't the top dog but someone more powerful's (Emperor) right hand man/ enforcer. Thoughts?

Seems like it. Although I think Lockdown has a more deadly vibe. When I look at Vader, I honestly don't feel threatened.

Nah him and his gang remind me more of the architects from Prometheus and Dr. Manhattan, the blue villain in Watchmen.

After seeing that commercial where Lockdown talked, I actually said to my wife that I think Lockdown could be one of the greatest villains in movie history, next to Vader.

Dr. Manhattan wasn't the villain he just inadvertently helped the "villain" (in quotes because the whole point of the movie/comic book is morally grey areas and the fine line between what's truly evil) complete his scheme.

He honestly reminded me a little of Tetsuo from Akira...mainly in that calm, unflinching walk of his. Either him or the Didact from Halo 4.

Yeah! I definitely see both of these, the Didact especially.

I don't know if anyone has made the comparison yet, but I think he's basically the Transformer version of Azog, from the Hobbit.

Right? It's just that cold, confident aura he gives off. It's like he's bored of fucking shit up at this point, and is just doing it subconsciously because he's so used to it.
