Between Christmas and my birthday I've gotten a pretty nice haul, but I work a lot and have 2 small kids so time spent on my hobby is minimal. Gonna have some free time this evening, what should open first? 20190120_091056-1.jpg

If you've got a lot of time I'd crack open and fiddle with one of the MPM. Otherwise POTP or the Iron Factory lads. Depending on how old your youngins are, maybe open the BotBots with them.

Also yes. After having a discussion with my mom yesterday I've been thinking about the origins of most of my collection(1000+ or so figures that took a while) and I realize there's a few Prime/Arms Micron figs I've never bloody opened.

I'd go with the Movie Masterpiece figures...I've actually got the SS Grimlock and Lockdown figures I've not opened yet myself...

I think I'll start with the MPM Beetle Bee. I really like to take my time and give each figure the attention it deserves, especially MPs and expensive 3rd party stuff.

I'm mostly caught up, still have that Legendary Optimus Prime I have yet to open. Not Sure if I will, he might be a leave in box guy. Got him off Amazon japan for a meager 55 shipped to the us a.

I just have like 4 or 5 I haven't opened yet because life has been getting in the way

    MMC Lockdown
    MMC Spartan
    Siege Cog
    Studio Series Jazz
maybe one or two others. I picked up KSI Sentry today, but he isn't part of the list because I need to get weapons for him from shapeways before I open him up.

Yes; constantly behind. I have about 10-15 (primarily mainline/chug) figures that I still have not opened up and fiddled with yet because of lack of space and time

You should open up the POTP first so you won't be disappointed by POTP by the time you open up the MPMs. :p

I have so much to open, that I've had to taper off almost completely with buying. For a year or so I've left my stuff at work because it's the only place I actually can open toys. It's nuts.

Lock the kids in a dog crate with some food and water and just open them all in one sitting.

Quite far behind, am I. But I get infected with the MISB bug from time to time, so a lot of my stuff is still unopened because I don't know if I want to open them.

Now, if your haul was my haul, I think I'd open the Iron Factory Jazz first. Not so simple it's boring like the Prime Masters, not so complex it's frustrating like the MPMs might be.

Open MPM Ironhide first in case you need to return him due to QC issues :D .

I keep most of the sealed stuff I buy sealed...even the ones I get with the intention of opening. Generally, if I haven't opened a figure within a week of buying it, it will probably stay sealed.

I think I have a few figures that have been sitting around for a few years unopened.

Nah, once I buy a TF, I open it almost immediately. Partly because I want to enjoy my new toy, partly so I can check for QC.
Now Gunpla on the other hand... I still have kits I got more than a year ago that's still unbuilt lol

Stuff I’ve had since 04-05. Sorry these are inverted. We redid a room and finally had the space. I’ll include a shot of part of the room. Energon Beachcomber is in front on the shelf to the right of Trypticon.

I'm so far behind, it's embarrassing. I have a small wall of boxes waiting to be opened.

Yep, still got about 40 or 50 figures that I haven’t opened. I have them stacked on the floor in my living room.

It’s crazy to me seeing how many people fall behind on opening their new toys. The longest I’ve gone without opening a new figure was a few hours so I could use it as motivation to finish cleaning the house.
