I have orders out of China on eBay and AliExpress. All from reputable stores both have gone twice as long for order shipments than usual. Anyone else experiencing this? I order alot from there but am feeling like I should hold off until this is sorted out.

 

Yup. I got all my aliexpress vendors to extend protection. They're all complaining post is slow with shipping. eBay I'm just waiting on Bababobo to say my FT Sovereigns shipped.

 

Did you buy something from someone called happiness-days on eBay? Because that's his excuse after my order from him hasn't updated for almost 2 weeks? I think there was a major shipping delay from some cities due to smog, but I should think that it's over by now.

My stuff was also delayed. Some things I ordered came in the usual timeframe, some came very, very late. Never waited that long for my china stuff. My ko EVA Convoy took 2 months to arrive! Lost almost hope, but the funny thing is, the day I opened a dispute, it arrived. Tracking worked just the first days, then no update till delivery.

 

Yes, it's been slow since late last year, partly due to holiday volume, partly due to the major shipping company that went bankrupt, and who knows what other factors. I've had two packages now that have gone via Europe from China to the western US, rather than directly across the Pacific. It doesn't appear to be about speed so much as cost, because it's generally always going to be faster to ship it a much more direct route, however when there are less shipping options, the cost of those shippers goes up so in order to keep prices reasonable, they have to find alternate shipping courriers and routes. For it to be cheaper to send it via DHL through Europe rather than EMS directly to US ports is quite strange. Is there any end in sight? No idea. I haven't read up on any shipper news lately so no idea if it will be resolved soon but I do hope so.

 

I have also sent items to the US using EMS and i have similar delays. Hope it gets sorted it out soon because my nerves are not well. Similar story. The item has left Greece but, since then, nothing. Let's hope it arrives.

 

Maybe. Haven't bought anything from China in awhile, but last weekend I bought from a seller in Beijing. Got a tracking number right the next day, but all I get out of it nearly a week later is "no information available". Could be held up, could be a scammer. We'll see.

 

Bought something from China on the 28th, got it yesterday. Longer than usual but nothing to complain about!

 

I suppose it depends. When you say twice as long, what's the actual number, and from and to where is the shipment going?

 

I bought from Lena and goodtoy2020 on Ebay. I bought from smartlulup2010 on Ali express. All are past their expected arrival dates. I got shipping protection extend on aliexpress and am about to file disputes on ebay. I don't want to give the vendors trouble; just want to make sure I'm protected.

 

Going on 30 days on all. Usually takes two weeks I know there is some holiday delay but they never reached the US. One is ems even.

 

China to US. Normal ~10-14 days, currently 3-4 weeks.

 

Some kind of port disputes have been on for weeks (not sure of the details). A vendor on Ebay ship a high priced item next day DHL from Taiwan to not lose the sale etc.. Did it without thinking or even telling me. Pleasantly surprised.

Also Had a TF-direct package get sent back and re-mailed again. Thinking some kind of rule has changed and shippers are having to adjust the hard way; trial and error.

 

To be fair, domestic shipping has been delayed here in China too...I have no idea why.

 

Ah damn, only thing I'm waiting on that has definitely shipped is Kultur from Planet Steel Xpress. Really hoping that 'aint delayed.
Of course I haven't heard from my local retailer on Sovereign, TW Coneheads, MMC Terraegis or TFM Carnage all of whom should be out by now. They may have had their incoming stock slowed by this problem.

 

Christmas and New Years, and here comes CNY  

 

I have two packages that are long overdue. LK061866655CN is my TFC Ironshell and has been sitting at the ISC in New York since November 13. LK096326240CN is KFC Simba and has been stuck at the Warrendale, PA USPS facility since December 19.

 

Woah. Those sound like issues at your (US) end though, rather than in China? Is it some kind of customs snafu?

 

I bought something from them and last update was it is in customs in chicago going on three weeks now. Anyone have stuff there that king or longer? I filed a claim with ebay just in case.
