They are "Dot Graphics" Diarama's of classic Super Mario brothers scenes. They are blind packed and coast about 6 bucks each... I love 'em....
Ah man I so want to! Wanna get them all! It's like they've materialized the 80's Would be cool to recreate the first Super Mario stage with those. Wonder how long it would be? Then be tiny and run through it Hope they make some Zeldas, Metroids, Bombermans, I would say Kid Icarus but that may look odd, and a few more old old skoolers
I want some Zelda 2 ones, Castlevania ones (say a set with some raNDOm monsters then a bunch of sets with 1 boss each), and most importantly Metroid!
yeah i figured they were imported (thus the japanese text) do you know who the manufacturer is? i gotta check my local comic shop then too.
Here's what I have so far.... The Manufacturer is Uni-something or other. Google "Dot Graphics Mario"
Are they in the same series as these things? http://www.hlj.com/hljlist2/?Dis=2&SeriesID=1981 I've always thought they looked interesting, the high cost is putting me off though.
Josh, it says you are on oregon. If you are near Portland you can pick the Diorama's and the Booster packs (Little ? boxes that cotnain random characters, enemy's ir Items {coins, Super shrooms, Fire Flowers, etc...) at Things from another world comic shop.

I saw ones in blind packs that played the game's theme songs when you pressed a button in the front...
