Long Title but self-explanatory.

So, anybody?

I got bored with so many figures that I really wanted. One toyline that made me feel that way was Animated. All the toys were very great but after a while I sold most of em off. I don't know why it just felt that the toys weren't as awesome after a while of owning it.

 

Botcon Stunticons. I wanted them so badly. However, after getting them I could not like them. I have sold 3 of them so far.

 

DOTM Bumblebee and PCC Huffer....Hell....I'm ripping them apart as we speak so I can have Megatron hold a chunck of BB and Huffer with the rest in the back ground...looking all dead and stuff.

 

Alt Smokescreen. It pissed me off. I thought it was the coolest thing ever, but it never transformed properly into car mode. It pissed me off.

 

Classics Prowl, I was desperate to get him when he very first released and when I finally got him I was so excited.

but when I opened him and TFed him for the first time I realized how bad the figure & mold was and I was so unbelievably dissapointed I put him somewhere I couldnt see him anymore until I eventually sold him

 

G1 wreck-gar. only because its G1 and a brick. can't really do anything else but just stand there. i think it can sit down due to transformation joints on the hip.

 

I don't really be bored with the shit that I buy, so no. Like, toys definitely take a back seat to newer ones, but it's sort of like Tigatron taking a back seat to the Silverbolt & Transmetals in season 2. They might not be the newest addition to the collection, but they're still important.

 

Plenty, most of them are just gathered to be part of my collection/potential characters waiting to be used in my Comic.

 

The larger you let yourself get hyped for something, the greater chance of a feeling of let down can come. That's what sucks about knowing what's coming out far ahead of release. But just can't help looking at the toy news.

 

yes.....I got rid of most of the animated figures....except my Deluxe Ratchet but I would trade him or sell him in a heartbeat...

 

Yeah it happened to me too - right now I don't even have any of my "beginner collector" transformers...

 

No, but there have been times when I pre-order something too early and by the time it actually comes out I don't want it anymore.

One of the reasons I prefer BBTS now. You can pre-order if you have even the slightest feeling of wanting it, but if you change your mind you can cancel in an instant.

 

War For Cybertron Optimus. Looked great on camera, even better in person, but he just wasn't that amazing when I finally opened him up. Drift on the other hand, was and still is amazing.

 

while i certainly still consider him a great toy, i haven't touched my warpath in a while. note that i did pay a marked up price for him as well

 

He was my first alternator and my last.

Me personally? I got really, REALLY bored with premium Bumblebee when it got released.

Hm the latest figure I can think of is RTS Prime, when I finally got him, was so disappointed he was so small and had a really ugly head. Thank God we're getting the upgrade soon
