i admit i have done it in the past, but have stopped however i still do get the occasional camper in convoy, what do you guys do when you encounter them?
yeah, i had two guys do it in a match recently, just kept taking them out, but they kept going back to the same place.
I mostly play as the scientist but despise campers and tend to fly around levels and stick to platforms that other non-teammates/opponents can reach to be a fair player. I never go to the very top of Convoy unless it is to chase off or kill a camper. I have found choosing the infiltrator and head-shooting campers from a distance with the nucleon sniper rifle to be very therapeutic however
Not sure if serious... I just fly up with mine, kill them and then wait for them to come back. After about the third or fourth death, they usually quit.

I couldn't give two shits. I'm a veteran gamer of 16 years, PC and console, and I only have to say...If you complain about camping, get a decade under your belt before you complain about other's playing habits. I've done my fair share of camping and aggro play, and I've tried out and played just about every play style under the sun. If it works for you, then do it and don't give a single fuck about what others think. Play what feels comfortable to you. I only care about your competence, not whether you're a camper or not. As someone who's camped myself, I know that camping CAN have a good effect on the opponent, so I don't discourage it myself.
I never really see them (or, I guess more accurately, notice they're camping) nor do I care. I've got nodes to capture/defend and fellow bots to heal.
Well, in FOC, I only ever encountered that in the really yellow map. It was annoying because I didn't want to be a Scientist but I didn't have any long range weapons as an Infiltrator. Although, I never finished leveling up and I don't know if you can unlocked a sniper. And in hindsight, I guess a tank cannon or truck rocket would have been effective. However, I do encourage Scientists to camp in WFC. There is nothing easier to kill than a stationary Scientist in that game. Oh boy, I do love killing me some Scientists with me trusty Null Ray. And they're a biting in Orbital Debris.
Nope. But I hate people who do, mostly because they know what they're doing, and I usually die because of them, which is annoying because the only weapon that people camp with that I can actually get a kill with is the Burst Rifle. Which also bothers me, because they camp with their skill instead of racking up kills faster by moving around.
I just don't have the patience for camping. But i don't hate if you have the skill to sit still & wait around for the action to come to you. If you want to waste time attempting headshots instead of proceeding to your objective so be it. But you better not miss cuz i will find you.
It's all part of the game, my only gripe is when they do it in Conquest. CtF, TD that's fine, get your kills in. But when we're trying to take over nodes with 3 bots because 2-3 of our teammates are sitting up high trying to pick off the other team one at a time, you are being unhelpful and detrimental to the objective. Same gripe I have about the Launch map and having Infiltrators and Scientists camping in the snipe tower and the little nook by C.
