Masterpiece Megatron. He looks good but is a pretty crappy figure overall. He even has that god damn tarnish.

I just can't seem to let him go though since he is the most accurate G1 Megatron we will ever get.

Energon Swoop and Grimlock. They are awful looking figures (especially Grimlock) in either mode, the articulations are terrible and the combiner looks ... ******ed. Yet I can't seem to be able to part with them... Oddly enough, they are listed in my BST thread, but I always find reasons not to sell them. I must've turned down a good half a dozen offers on them just because I kept changing my mind about selling them. I think I'm stuck with them because they are dinobots, and dinobots are always cool as we all know... *shrug*

Say... Anyone wanna by 'em? Maybe I won't change my mind this time around... >_>

I don't know, I'm pretty sure we'll see a new classics Prime, probably not too far in the future. I think that if Hasbro releases MP-10 they'll be able to reinstall Prime's classics aesthetics in the general public.

What's funny is that even if they release a new, better classics Prime, there will be massive whining about Hasbro making another Prime instead of [insert G1 character that hasn't been reincarnated in classics yet]

Micron Legend Hot Shot. He was in my "for sale" pile... now he's out. He may go back... he'll probably come out again. I really find that I like this piece of crap mold... it sucks, but it's a whole lot of fun to transform.

And the light-up fist on the Japanese version is just stupidly amusing.

I thought that, as well. even has a the G1 style separate platform gimmick.
there was a BotCon Ironhide made like that, right?

    Armada Prime.
i hate his combined mode and how easily it falls apart.
but his smaller bot mode, and his vehicle mode for some reason makes me think that the folks over at the "2000 A.D." or "Judge Dredd" comics won a bet with Hasbro and got to design him.

that motorized trailer gimmick though...moiders that toy's appeal, lol.

Yes, Agreed, Its the only version of Rodimus in that sort of G1 close mold that I have since Universe Rodimus is so damn hard to find.

I think about half of my collection falls under this catagory. I have most "show" characters from Armada, Energon, and Cybertron, plus tons of non-show Beast Wars figures, and I could live without half of them. I think since I worked toward collecting these in the first place, I can't let go because of the memories attached. I could probably sell them off, but I think I'd miss seeing them in my room.

There were indeed BotCon Ironhide and Ratchet figures that were retools of Energon Tow-Line (from 2005, I believe).

I agree on Armada OP, but I haven't actually used the trailer for his super mode in longer than I can remember. I just use Jetfire's pants-mode (well, Powerlinx Jetfire, but same difference).

My biggest clunker-figure-that-I'll-never-get-rid-of is probably Armada Sideswipe. Part of it is that it was a gift, part of it is knowing there's little-to-no market for an opened and fairly well-played-with Armada Sideswipe. That, and I really like how the Mini-Con stores in vehicle mode.

Classics Grimlock. What a pile of crap. However, I will only dispose of it if a better reiteration is released.

My desire for the Beast Wars figures have faded over the years. I still love the shows, yet I can't let go of the figures in the main cast.

I have to disagree. Your shelf may not be big enough, but I think he looks great with my classics voyagers and deluxes, in that he's way bigger than them as I always felt he should be. Of course I use Faith leader as my Optimus, so they're about the same size.
