so, it's nearly October, i know there's going to be a delay on it till November, i need to know how it looks so i can figure if i want 2 of them. Im also hoping that it doesn't come with that gray piece where his crouch would be; it looks horrible on my Jet-wing prime compare to my buster primes.

 

It'll probably have that same piece, and there haven't been any updates.

A fairly well known source on this board indicated the paintwork will match the pricepoint, the shield is pretty big, and that stealth force mode looks pretty good.

Kapow were told no Chrome however.

 

Im new to this....can you elaborate what does this mean? Does it mean very detailed paint? Because if theres no chrome paint, then what would they use in its place? thanks in advance

"More vibrant" paint. i don't know if that means more vibrant than standard, or even more vibrant than buster.

If no Chrome, then silver i would presume.

Not necessarily a loss, imo. Chrome on the bumpers, visor, w/o chrome on other areas always looked a bit out of place to me.

Some of you may think i'm simply pulling this stuff out of thin air, but regulars here will have a good idea where this info would've come from.

A Leader Ironhide box appeared at a Japanese Toy Exhibition a while back with Leader Prime Artwork on the front, in stealth force mode, with a "Striker Prime" name on the front.




It's generally assumed, and hasn't been debunked by anyone who would probably know, that DA28 and Striker Prime ARE the same thing.

And the Hasbro tag on the box in that picutre to which i'm referring doesn't guarantee anything WRT Hasbro. As i said, it was a modified Leader Ironhide box, hence the Hasbro logo.

 

Ah ok, that's what I thought. I had that preordered but I didn't know what it is, so I figured just to double confirm.

I thought that DA28 was suppose to be a leader prime mold with diff weapons or slight retooling or something. Hopefully more info at some point.

You know, i think i might have phrased that part about debunking very poorly.

So: it's apparent DA28 and Striker Optimus are one and the same.

 

I'm more curious to know if Striker Optimus is going to have the ability to combine with the Jetwing backpack or not.

 

Since it has the same ab section as Jetwing, probably.

 

Weird that they have no solid pictures of this already....we are about 2 months away...shouldnt something be out already?
