Any true fix Yellow Light of death?

    I pulled my old 60gig PS3 out of the closet yesterday that died over two years ago. I want to fix it and give it to my friend for her sons to have. Yes, i could just buy a new one but I'd like to try and fix this one first to save some cash.

    I looked online but didn't find any definite results.

    so now I'm asking here.

    For a "permanent" fix, you're probably going to have to bake the PS3 in an oven.

    ANY fix that I have ever heard of has never been a permanent fix.
