    I don't get how multiple actors can still be in the running for characters. Don't you traditionally record lines, THEN animate to them?

    What happens is that Mark Ryan voices the bots on set, then the bots are animated to Mark's vox, then the "real" actor dubs his voice over that. If dialogue changes, they make the appropriate alterations.

    Gotcha. I had heard that Nimoy was open to it, and that he was asking Michael to call him. I didn't know the call had been made.

    You know what, I totally geek out when I see Peter Cullen doing Prime's voice. For real. It's not a slight geek-out, it's like full on...:drool:

    Very true. It should be Nimoy, though. Anything less would lead to me raging out and possibly (failing) to damage things.
