Just curious. I searched far and wide for a decent Shockwave and settled on the Prime Beast Hunters Voyager class. I reckoned that Shockwave was always radically different looking than the rest of the transformers plus he only ever had a Cybertronian mode so he'd work it. He mostly fits in.

Are there any other Prime figures which fit in well with CHUG? I've been eyeing up Wheeljack a bit.

The SDCC version of Shockwave is even better with the yellow optic. It makes the design elements less jarring.

Ratchet is a good contender as well. He's somewhat less stylized than most.

All the Shockwave's that we've gotten and yet still no good Classics version (IMO). Not even a 3rd Party one. I don't like the FOC/WFC version.

    Shockwave
    Wheeljack
    Bulkhead
    Ratchet

Those are the ones I've used/still use, they all fit pretty well if you ask me

I guess my answer of "all of them" wouldn't go over very well would it?

^ I use all them as well as the TFCC Slipstream, Knockout & Breakdown and a couple of Vehicons. Prime figures fit well in CHUG collections.

let's see, my "classics" collection currently has
GDO Cliffjumper (which uses the firat edition Cliffjumper body)
Generations Chromia (whose base mold is TFP Arcee)
Advanced BAT (which uses TFP Soundwave)
    Cannonball (made from TFP Ratchet)
    TFP Thundertron
AOE Legion Strafe (redeco of BH legion Windrazor, he is Thundertron's parrot)

so yeah, I'd say TFP stuff fits well enough on a Classics shelf

I have a kind of mixed series faction display going on, that uses the Vehicons, Shockwave, Dark Energon Knockout, and Voyager Starscream (though with Classics Missile launchers) from Prime in the line.

I forgot about Cannonball & Cliffjumper! And I have Alpha Triser (thundertron) in my collection too. See how well they blend in?

There are some good repurposings, placeholders/replacements & base molds used from the TF Prime line...I have a few Vehicons in my CHUG-lection as G1 Watchdog (G1) - Transformers Wiki s under Shockwaves command...love Generations Chromia retooled from TF Prime Arcee...and...use Bulkhead as his G1 self amongst a few...

I see that BBTS has an Arcee/Chromia two pack. Wheeljack looks good too but because you can cover the face. I think Ratchet looks awesome in the show and the toy except his face on the toy is a huge departure from the rest of the CHUG stuff.

Whether or not you decide to put him in your CHUG display, Prime Wheeljack is an awesome figure. I highly recommend him!

Depends what your CHUG definition Is....I use the BH predasons as either a)shockwave experiments or B)a band of decepticon pirates mutated in the Dead Universe and found by Nova Prime and Galvatron. I flip back and forth depending on the day

i agree with all of these recommendations.

Dark Energon Wheeljack works as a repurposed Slicer

and Renderform's head turning Darksteel into Deszaras

I'm not fond of shoehorning Prime into CHUG due to aesthetics. To me, CHUG should retain most of the inherent Diaclone qualities of G1 even if in updated form. Prime mostly eschews those for more curves and fewer noses.

That said, I use Botcon Megaplex in my CHUG collection. I could also see someone using Prime Shockwave, since most of the CHUG options are pretty weak (I use Cloud Shockwave but that's only because he's the only official CHUG version that's also a voyager scale...the FoC deluxe is too tiny, as is the Combiner Wars figure).
