They still have multiple panels over the next day or so, things could still be shown. According to the schedule, they have 4 panels left.
Still some panels plus the potential to see different stuff in the display cases. I'll say there's a bit of a chance still, despite the major letdown so far.
With 4 panels to go. One for marvel, another for transformers, and 2 nondescript design ones, anything goes. So who knows. I'd lean on yes. No way they'd blow their load this early. This one was probably just the WFC and what we've done one so to speak. With more to come about future plans later. Then again, they could be REAL DICKS, and hold over anything new till NYCC since it's closer to the end of the year this time around.
When is the other Transformers one? I saw a Star Wars and a Marvel one, and one for general action figures that Archer is going to, but I didn't see anything else.
For Bot Con this year it was nothing impressive, nothing impressive and when it looked like us folks at home wouldn't get to see or hear anything cool boom that drop some really cool stuff on us. Perhaps the plan is to hold back some of the really good stuff for the end at Comic Con for the end. With all the craziness that is the news over load the first day or two of the con it's easy for announcements and reveals to get lost in all of the mix.
The panel they held was a major disappointment. Many of us were waiting to see the toys they announced at BotCon get pictures on those big projection screens, but no. Just a bunch of crappy repaints and toys that were already announced at BotCon. Whoop-dee-doo. I just hope Hasbro reveals something soon after the bore-fest that was their panel. Generations is shaping up to be an awesome line, and I REALLY want to see those toys.
Y'know, the lack of anything incredibly exciting could be a big middle finger to everyone for supporting the Chinese sellers that get things early. Or it could just be that there's nothing new. No news is good news?
The only panel left now is the marvel one. We'll probably see some crossovers in it, but that's about it besides marvel toys themselves. On the flipside though, this means NYCC, and the next toyfair will be ungodly awesome.
When do those happen? Toyfair already happened this year, right? Anyways, I don't want to wait until 2011 to see them. However, there'll always be leaked pics!
