I'm going to be the the Atlanta area for work next week. Any good comic/toy shops that I should hit up while I'm there?

There's a pretty good shop about 30 minutes North up I-75 called Bungees Comics.

Moving this over to the Toy Discussion forum, might have some folks there who know the best places to check.

Oxford Comics in Atlanta. Billy's Toys about an hour north of Atlanta. Galactic Quest (2 locations) about 1/2 an hour north of Atlanta.

I don't have a lot to compare it to, but I'm a fan of Dave's Comics & Collectibles south of Riverdale. They have a healthy array of figures, statues, and robots.

Will take note of all these. I've BEEN to Oxford; the selection ain't great last time I was there.

EDIT: I live in an Atlanta Suburb. Last time I went to Oxford Last Stand of the Wreckers just published issue five.

Dr. No's in Marietta is fantastic on the comics front, though they don't stock many if any robot/TF toys. It's the home of Comic Shop News.

2nd and Charles on Barrett Pkwy is a huge store with comics, books, movies, a few toys, and retro gaming stuff. Not many TFs though.

The Wright Stuff in Woodstock has a bunch of toys and some comics, and the owner is nice, but their TF selection varies widely from week to week and their prices are high.

Oxford is the biggest comic shop I know around here, but be careful of the owners, they're like the Comic Book Guy personified.

I love going to The Wright Stuff Collectibles! Ever since I've been going there every other time, I happen to be one of their favorite customers.
