What the title says, I would hope it would be released on the same Wave as the 2014 Camaro version of bumblebee. Also, I've seen the one step figure, not too fond of it. On a seperate note, any idea how soon Deluxe Lockdown will hit the shelves in the states?
There's a high chance of it happening, and it being a retool of the 2014 Camaro Bumblebee figure. Lockdown should be hitting the shelves within the next month.
Rumor is, we may get Stinger info at SDCC, which like a week or so away. Just a little bit longer and we'll know what's what and what isn't.
The facts: - The toy listings Hasbro accidentally leaked a while back included a Deluxe Stinger toy. - Hasbro folks at BotCon said there'd be news of some Walmart-exclusive Stinger merch at SDCC. We're almost certainly going to get a Walmart-exclusive Deluxe Stinger.
I have absolutely no interest in any Bumblebee figure anymore. But a Stinger? That I might buy, depending on how it looks. Don't ask me how that makes sense.
I like the 67 Camaro Bumblebee a lot. So Deluxe Stinger, basically a repainted Bee. I would enjoy it if it transformed into a Pagani, like it should, but if not, I'm not wasting my money on it.
I agree. My hope that if it is a Bee repaint they, at the very least, go the Springer/Sandstorm route and modify it enough that he resembles the Pagani in alt mod, but I doubt that will happen. At the very least they need to give him SOMETHING different... a different weapon, new head, and some retooling. But if its just a red bee... I have Cliffjumper for that.
The artwork attatched to springer is essentially the same as bumblebee, hopefully they do a retool rather than make him a straight repaint... We shall see...
