I was really disappointed when I found out Transformers: Animated had plans for a SG episode but it got cancelled, Do you think any writers would try to make an adaptation of it in the newer series?
in a show? maybe as like a filler episode, but as the main plot? nah. maybe idw would do a series abt it.
As others have said, SG works for an episodic plot, not an entire series. The concept gets old after awhile, and FunPub’s comics helped show how misconstrued the plot can become.
Better as an episodic plot like others have mentioned. But if you want to watch an adaptation, look up Transformers Broken Mirror and Transformers Ascension on YouTube. Great stop motion series!
Huh? It would be great in the style of the DC animated movies. Ignore the naysayers. Anything good writer can make a concept work.
I think the issue with Shattered Glass would be either the concept or it's execution. And given the origins of this continuity was an elaborate April Fools joke... it might explain a lot of things. Still, if there's possibility of a mini-subline that consist of redecoes of Siege and Earthrise molds as "Shattered Dimension" versions of characters, i guess it would be considered an interesting addition. It's rather niche, but would be interesting. Well, the question is which writer should we go with? And yeah, i guess the thing is that it has potential for some interesting stories, it's just how to handle them properly for a "Mini-Series" at the end of the day.
I would very much like to see a shattered glass transformers show. I would like to see one of RID2015 but done right.
I wouldn't take a whole show, but as an episode where the cast of the main universe somehow encounters the SG reality wouldn't be a problem.
