Those were all pretty pointless and unrevealing questions in my opinion. No questions about the status of Hydrodive bee and Golfire Grimlock, or the Bulkhead redeco Eric Siebenaler mentioned, or the tank-mode perceptor seen at botcon last year. Or how long Animated's toyline will continue after the show.

honestly I could not give a rats ass about 2 toys IMO I'd much rather hear questions about the inner workings and developments behind the brand and get to know the workings.... Then when people bitch we can all got STFU and point them to this info

Pretty boring questions, and the answers all felt very safe and corporate-y.

If any of them were asked they would have been meet with a "No Comment" or a "We will be discussing such details at a later date".

I wish somebody had asked them about the ROTF Demolishor-Scavenger name thing, and why both Hasbro and Paramount refer to the excavator guy that is part of Devastator as "Scavenger", and the one who appears in China as Demolishor.

    Subtle.

Despite the generic boardroom shop-talk "answers", I did find it interesting how many times they dropped the term 'collectors'. Considering how often we're reminded that collectors apparently mean sweet f**k all to anything, that they only make up whatever tiny percent certain all knowing forum demigods feel like pulling out of thin air for sake of making an example, etc etc etc, it was pretty surprising to see Hasbro reference them as many times as they did.

Of course they're talking directly to collectors, so it makes sense that they would mention them often. i don't think it changes the fact that collectors are a small percentage of the TF sales. I think if they were talking to a room full of kids they wouldn't mention collectors at all. they're just talking to the demographic of the room.

True enough. I almost forgot how instinctively spin-doctory these guys always are with their answers.

Dumb question. Are you just not allowed to post Q&A's from other sites? Sure, give them credit, but it'd be easier to discuss here if all the info was crossposted in the first post. I'm sure there's some website politics involved, but it never hurts to ask...

So anyway, I love all of the straightforward answers. It's so much better than the usual "wait and see" or "we can't discuss the inner workings and secrets of our organization". Now I'd like to see FunPub go into detail what goes into making an exclusive... Every time someone asks, it's always "we can't discuss such things".

I'd like to see Hasbro actually have their own message board where people can interact with members of the Hasbro team in a neutral ground. Especially right now with DJW posting stuff online, it'd be great to get more people out there doing the same thing from Hasbro in something more organized.

Reports from Botcon 2008 said Hasbro had Animated Perceptor designed with a Tank-like mode.

These just seem like very mundane questions. I know we would just get generic answer though if something more interesting was actually asked though.
