Hi everyone, just finished this one up to paint last night. Its gone through about 3 different incarnations with this one finally winning out. I was using classics seeker legs at first but didn't like the final height..so used classics prowls upper legs and made the lower legs out of acrylic pieces so that they fold completely into each other. He's made of tftm overcast (obviously), universe 2-pack prime's hands and ball joints, classics prowl upper legs, feet, hips and head, universe threadbolts landing gear, classics seeker thrusters, and other random pieces i don't remember right now. I was trying to use the mig jet which i always liked to make a kind of classic looking robot..but i wanted him to be bigger than a classics seeker (You can see his size compared to the others). Yeah he has bonecrusher feet...lol...but... he has...landing gear!! He stands really solidly with the setup in any case. I think I'm done for right now until I paint these four. Any c&c is greatly appreciated, again...he's not very clean...I've been using a blades for cutting more this time around than the dremel, but still used the dremel for removing material.
    Thanks

Abso-freakin-amazing. You took a mediocre mold and made it into something incredible that could fit right in to any Classics collection. I may have to steal some of the ideas you used if I ever get around to reworking my own Movie Dreadwing.

I dig it! The nosecone back pack is precisely the way I did it on mine, I'm still working out some kinks so he doesn't parts-form! Great work here!:thumbs2:

That's REALLY cool and creative. Honestly, if you're not sure about your painting chops, I'd imagine at least one of the hot-shot painters on this board would be glad to work with you, either getting you started on doing your own thing, or possibly in a collaborative sense.

I know I plan to steal some of your ideas as soon as I have the parts and the spare time. :D  That Mustang mod is freakin' happening, and this one is pretty great, too.

If you really wanted, there are some late-G1 characters that this mod could easily represent - he kind of reminds me of Talon.

More importantly, I like what this implies for reshellers - you could slap a bunch of different plane models onto this frame and make it go.

this is quite impressive. Seeing him makes me think of using that figure at an aerielbot or something else entirely new.
