Jalonta Freeman Pays $200 For 'iPad' That's Actually Just A Mirror

When will people learn if it sounds too good to be true it more than likely is.

Ah, high tech toy swapping. That's why when my parents go buy stuff for my little cousins, i make sure they got the right thing.

After living here in Arlington my whole life, I'm not surprised there are scumbags willing to use that tired old scam, and dipshits willing to fall for it here. Ever since they built that damned Cowboys' stadium, the city's become the new Dallas of ghetto scum.

My dad decided to give a woman a ride home from the gas station a few years ago. He found out during the drive that she was a hooker, and when he dropped her off at her "home", she snatched his keys out of the ignition and her pimp walked up and robbed him. Not only that, but both Pizza Huts my dad has worked at have employees selling drugs out the back. His last boss was a cokehead, even.

And god forbid anyone in town dips into their drug money to give the delivery man a tip for risking his neck to hand-deliver their food. Thugs place orders for empty apartments every so often and try to mug the driver when he shows up.

Repackers strike again. Stores have seriously got to check for this sort of thing. It's bad enough when a toy gets swapped for a different toy, it's fucking asinine they just accept goddamn notebooks or rocks or shit.

Everything else is people being stupid.

Make the seller open the item first, this includes best buy, too many people are buying stuff in sealed boxes only to find a can of raviolis. Open it before you leave the store!

Rule of thumb: If something's too good to be true....

...then you're not really buying an iPad!!!!!

But the "Customer is Always Right"
Dear god, if there's a Commercial Policy that needs to die out, its that one. The Customer isn't always right. Three times out of Ten, maybe, but in this day and age, everyone's looking to get everything for nothing.

"Hey, I'm selling this iPad for 200 bucks at a gas station. It's not at all suspicious."

Like seriously, a guy sells you an iPad out of a car AT A GAS STATION FOR 200 BUCKS. How is that not suspicious at all?

I'm amazed people still fall for this crap buying on the street. At the very least they need to open the box there and then to make sure the product is in there and working before they pay for anything. And even then I'd not take them up on the offer.

Still, if you buy an iPad and then open it to find a mirror instead you can immediately see your own stupid dumbass face staring right back at you going 'IDIOT!!!'.

    iPad? More like uPrat.
In my experience 'The Customer is always a right twat'.

... before you start doing anything make sure she's not actually a guy.
