In the THF version right red colored shoulder hinge doesn't snap in place like the left red shoulder hinge. It falls out of place very easily and there is no real DIY fix for it.

    THF right?
When did you buy it and from which seller?
If its a recent purchase I'm wondering if the current batch has the issues fixed like the left red shoulder hinge not staying in place.
If that's the case would it make sense for me to role the dice and buy another copy with no issues?

    Yes he's the THF one.

I got him for Christmas so he's pretty recent, I have a second one that I have not opened yet, I should see how the other one is now that you mentioned that.

Huh? It folds in on the THF version.
Sorry the pic is sideways but you get the idea.

Let us know how well the red hinges for shoulders stay in place on both copies.

So far so good, the opened one is actually stiff, I have to yank on it to get them out, the only thing that's kinda loose is the fists, they tend to droop sometimes when the weapon is in it. I can floor polish it but it's not a pain yet.

My red hinges are good as well. It is the right side blue tab that does not stay in place

I can hold him up by one arm, the red hinges stay but the blue parts pop out, well one side more than the other.

As far as the official versions go, I have both the Takara MP UM and Delta Magnus. Oddly enough, out of the two, Delta Magnus has the much stronger leg ratchets.

Skip at the 5:12 mark of this video.
A fix is discussed for the blue parts that pop out.

Thanks for linking this video, see how he struggles with some of those joints? They are just as tight on mine.
The left blue arm panel pops out if I put pressure on it or hang him from his arm so I don't see it as a problem yet.

We'll they're both KOs, one just has some enhancements.
I guess you meant the straight up Takara KO.

    No problem.

It can't hurt to do the fix as shown in the video.
