He can be named Alphonso for all I care. I'm pretty sure that, since the CGI model exists and he's had enough screentime to be a repudiated baddie, he'll be back.

I really wouldn't call that a Blackout lookalike...

 

Since you mention it, that would suffice for me too.

A Leader class toy would be the best, but if they made a new Voyager that measures up to 7 1/2 inches tall like TF1 Voyager Ratchet and Prime, that would be great.

Wouldn't be too hard either, if he had more of the helicopter tail transform into his legs instead of just hanging off his back.

Voted yes because I want there to be at least one movie design that I do genuinely like.

 

I can see it happening...its one of my fav characters and best movie bot designs....

 

i'm pretty sure grindor was in TF2 because those involved in making the movies were too cheap to create another TF design. using the old TF1 Blackout design & coloring it a different color & calling it grindor was a huge money saver.

No,I don't think those involved in the movies will milk another clone blackout to save cash. that would be too embarrassing for everyone involved in making these movies. as it screams cheap skate.

I'm all up for it. The design is great, wouldn't mind if he had more screentime and maybe played a more pivotal role. I also wouldn't mind a new figure of him, the first was to focused on gimmicks that didn't work. I'd love to see one focus on being a more accurate version, kind of like the transition of voyager starscream.

On a side not a reuse of Barricade would be awesome. That design, along with the car, is absolutely kick ass. I would LOVE to have a new toy (DLX) of him that was more accurate, complex and poseable. The first toy was accurate, but the HA was more complex and poseable. So something along the lines of the HA in deluxe scale, but without the rotating death wheel.

 

Another Blackout / grindor should go back, but with a different color! and what you guys think? when we can say with certainty that he will appear in the movie? I think the more characters in the film, better your chances of appearance
