Well, I finally tracked down a 360 Bundle pack and snatched it up, now I needs me some games! I should be going out today and grabbing something, just need some input. I'm leaning toward Call of Duty, but I hear good things about the Rainbow Six game. I rented Full Auto last night and it's just OK. And I hear that Perfect Dark is a no-no. So give msome ideas of what you think would be a good game, and doesn't have to be the ones I mentioned either.

I don't have one yet either, but judging by my raving friends, Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter and Project Gotham Racing 3 are your top bets right now.

Perfect Dark: Its all right, but you'll get really annoyed by the reload time of weapons. It takes all the fun out of the game.

Call of Duty: its a really awesome game

Ghost Recon: I played it yesterday and its a really awesome game

As I understand it, the $4 Geometry Wars game is the best title on the system.

I just got the new issue of EGM today and Ghost Recon scored a 10, 9, 9.5, which I think may be the best score they've doled out for a 360 game yet. Sounds promising.

Geometry Wars is cool, and vary challenging but so far my favorite Live Arcade game is Marble Blast Ultra.

I haven’t played Ghost Recon yet, but I really liked Call of Duty. I’m playing Perfect Dark right now and it’s not that bad, but not super good either. The levels are way to short. I say wait a bit on that one and pick it up when it gets cheaper (or rent it). And definitely don’t bother with the limited edition version, the box is cool but the DVD it comes with is lame.

Marble Blast Ultra is badass. The advanced levels are kicking my ass thoug.

COD2 single player is awesome and does a good job of showing off just how many AI characters the 360 can handle. There are times in the game where you have to defend a building, you can see the Nazis running at you from across a long field, and you still have absolutely no chance of killing them all before they storm the building. The number of soldiers on screen at once is mind blowing. The only downside is that Live gameplay is either laggy as hell or ends up being a mostly sniping matches.

I've heard horrible things about Perfect Dark so I would avoid that one. I d/led the demo for Full Auto and played it a few times and it seems like it would get boring after a little while.

The new Ghost Recon looks amazing and it's probably going to be the next 360 game I get.

Tell me about it, I had some difficulty getting under par times in a couple of the intermediate levels but they really crank it up on advanced.

I've only been able to complete 4 of the advanced levels and only two of those have been under par times.

Yeah, Ghost Recon is the way to go. Tried to pick that up at a rental store but they were all gone. Interestingly enough I thought I should play Conkers Live and Reloaded, but when I got it home I remembered that the 360's shitty backwards compatability won't let me play it...and now i'm sad. But if there IS a title to save your money for it's Ghost Recon 3 or GRAW, and Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion. Got my preorder for it and I can't wait till March 20th.

Call of Duty 2 is AWESOME imo. never heard a bad word, either.

I just got Ghost Recon and it is Great! improvement over the first few, once you get used to it it is really awesome, and I might say, it's uber-realistic. You try to shoot and run...game over. but you get tactical and use your team and vehicles to position yourself for a win. I only played a couple levels as I just got it yesterday, but I am so hooked. hope that helps

I'm thinking about picking it up this during this week. The single player looks awesome, but I haven't heard much of the Live play. Can you give me an idea about the multiplayer? Compare it to Halo 2 if you can because that has the best team and matchmaking features IMO. How easy is it to set up a party for your friends, how does the matchfinding system work, how detailed is the post game report? Those kinds of things. I really want a 360 game to get into over Live, but it definitly isn't going to be CoD2 since that has some of the cheapest Live features that you could possibly have.

LIVE? I honestly don't know...I havn't gone live with this game yet. I'll post when I do...however, FYI: your basic rifles all have scopes, so you can shoot/snipe whenever you want, unlike Full Spectrum Warrior.

    online multiplayer: 2-16
    co-op: 2-16

Thanks for the input guys! I was getting swayed to get Ghost Recon, but the store was out. I ended up picking up Call of Duty 2, and don't regret it. Now I'm waiting for the 360 version of Black and then Saint's Row.

COD2 is the best single player game and GRAW is the best multiplayer experience on the 360. Sure, some of the marketplace arcade games are addictive and look great, but none of them are close to COD or GRAW. Not even close.

I'll stand up for PD, I like it. It was better then most people say, and it has some pretty fun multiplayer modes.

Every single time i've heard something about GRAW it's been that it's amazing, and even though I don't like the style of the past GR games, I might try this one out.

And I liked the PD special edition, just for the cool case it comes with :D
