So with the recent Australian ratings of two Xbox Transformers games being worked on (one of them possibly being a re-release of the High Moon Cybertron games) when should we expect them to be announced if this is true?

I looked it up and please correct me if I’m wrong but Transformers day is on the 17th of this month, TF one releases on the 20th, AND Xbox has a showcase at Tokyo Gameshow on the 26th. Could we possibly see these be officially announced on any of these dates or are we going to be waiting another year?

Hello there. Those are the dates people are speculating, apparently whatever it is was intended for this year so I'd say it's likely going to be one of them.

 

Unless it's a full remaster, and not just being added to backwards compatibility/being re-released, I doubt it'll show up as a videogame show. Old licensed games aren't really the kind of thing you give billing in your big event. Maybe it'll be a press release revealed at the same time.

I could definitely see it being announced at Pulsecon though. It's a bigger announcement for Transformers fans than it is for videogame fans.

Seeing as one of the games is a "modified" game I think we're getting a remaster of at least WFC.

 

I think that might be referring to the existing remaster of Fall of Cybertron, personally.

 

Ah sorry I meant to say the "original" games probably the WFC remaster

 

Pulsecon will dedicate a full hour to a brand new fall of cybertron sequel

Yeah most likely one of those 3 dates or worse case scenario, won't hear anything until the Game Awards but that's fairly unlikely as TF day would make the most sense as I can see a reason for the TF games coming back would be for the 40th Anniversary so it'd make sense to announce it then due to the celebration, just my little theory on the situation with the games, could be wrong and wouldn't be surprised if I was lol.

Has there been any solid evidence for the rumors of the TF games being rereleased / remastered? All I've seen so far is a screenshot of two rating boards for undisclosed projects, but without any source attached or hints that they're rereleases rather than new, original projects. I feel like this is just another case of rumors spreading around without any fact-checking.

 

I been looking for news everyday since those rumors first started and have had zero luck. Chances are that we may get news either this coming Tuesday since it’s Transformers Day or at the Xbox Tokyo Games Showcase on the 26th. Those are the likely dates for these games if they’re real. Cuz they’re supposed to drop this year and if they’re remasters or re releases then I could see them dropping towards the end of this month or next month.
