    What series of anime should be remade in your opinion?

    For me:

    Gatchaman
    Gundam (the original)
    & Dragon Ball (New animation designs)

    Three shots of Shinji moping in a chair is NOT an episode.

    They did do an update of Gatchaman, a three episode OAV series back in the 90's. It wasn't bad... might be worth picking up.

    As to a series redone... hmm.

    If we're talking films I'd like to see Locke the Superman redone. It's the story of this immortal guy who has all these psychic powers living in a future society. I saw a film of this years ago (came out in 84 apparently) when I was a kid and I still remember some of the stuff in it.

    Series I'd actually like to see Macross 2 redone with a bigger budget and better animation. Even though it doesn't fit into established Macross continuity it was a fun series, and i had some of the best Mecha design to date, look at the Valks in that series, absolutely stunning. (google search 'VF-2SS Valkyrie II' and you'll see what I mean).

    LOL, its full of story, the fact you have to think for yourself i know isn't everyone's cup of tea. Also defining the whole series, without regards to the other 24 episodes and the EOE Movie that was released is a little ignorant. Surely you've seen the rest? :)

    Manga faithful Elfen Lied. It'd end with a whole load of weirdness going on, but it'd be fantastic to see said weirdness animated, especially the last few volumes.

    Also this. I think Pokemon needs a Digmon 2.0 update personally.

    I would like a redone version of Tekkaman Blade, with the English cast that did the dub that made it to Australia on Cheez TV. Clean up the animation, remove some filler (of which there is pleasently little) and just polish it off a bit.

    Trigun, the first full series I watched to the end, still love it but it looks and feels quite dated now.
