Guess not. I had ordered purple Galvy, but was forced to cancel it due to budget cutbacks. (Decided to go with GF Primus instead.) In retrospect, it was probably a good idea. Picture 51 there pretty much sums it up for me. I have this wonderful (IMHO) Energon Galvatron, I don't need a recolor of more primitive version, even if it was anime/movie inspired.

However, that said, it's a great review, pictures, and movies. And if that was more my thing, I'd be really happy to see that.

My brother didn't like the stickers either. They look good close up, but you can't really see them from farther away. They almost look like glue residue or something.

Anime Galvatron isn't nearly as good as Energon Galvatron, that is for sure. Energon Galvatron is pretty much perfect in my opinion. http://www.cosmicrust.com/toys/energon/galvatron.php

While I appreciate the effort Takara did on their reissue, it definetly could have been better (or much worse). Both reissues are great, but I still prefer the original (despite my initial reactions).
