I'm not a fan of repaints anyway but if you're going to repaint a figure at least make the colours more different to the original than that. I can still get the first Bulkhead Voyager here and at a tiny fraction of the normal price. Why do I think this will sell terribly in America and the remaining bulk(head) of stock will get foisted off onto the UK market to shelfwarm here instead of something useful?
Maybe if they'd repainted this in a S.W.A.T. van deco and colours and called it Animated Onlaught instead it might've been worth a bit more of a look.

 

well i dont own any bulkhead figures yet, so i think if this does come out im picking it up, i like the colors more than the original

A Voyager Bulkhead in that 'cosmic' deco would be one of the single greatest TF toys ever created.

 

Oh yes! I need a Bulkhead. Just one complaint. Why do we get a repaint of a stupid character, but no omega supreme?

 

Because putting new paint on an old mold is not comparable to creating an entirely new mold.

 

Plus the fact that Omega Supreme would be a Leader or a Supreme class figure, and that Bulkhead is just a Voyager, it further justifies the fact we couldn't get Omega instead.

Still, at least they could have TRIED. If I bought a Voyager Bulkhead, exposed him to nuclear radiation, splashed some of my Gold Leaf paint on him, then dunked the back of him in vehicle mode into a pot of black paint, I think I could definitely get him looking very similar.

Due to the fact of me NOT having any animated Bulkheads im going to go for this if i ever see at a store.It looks pretty nice,but i would prefer maybe something in a bluish shade or something
