News Post: Animated Transformers Movie Set In Cybertron Is In The Works
Huh. I kind of hope for something a little different from what we see in Bumblebee or Dark of the Moon, like the Quintessons as opposed to the war for Cybertron.
But they’re making an Obi-Wan film, you ignorant lout.
Lorenzo, Lorenzo, Lorenzo...didn't you do this before? Announcing the Bumblebee movie before TLK really was 'out' per se?
And then it looked really fucking dumb when TLK shit the bed and suddenly you had this half-baked Bumblebee spin-off for a cinematic universe that wasn't ever going to happen?
Paramount clearly learned nothing by not firing your ass.
Lmao not after Solo they're not
Still moving forward with it, though other standalones were dropped as a result of Solo.
I hope it turns out well this time, lol
Already? Then i feel they\'ve been working on it and now decided to tell us otherwise i would have thought they\'d wait until the Bumbee movie finishes its theatrical run. I\'m thinking a year, 18 months tops before this is finished. Here\'s a idea; a history of Optinus Prime movie. Starts as Orian Pax.
Loranzo, please. Stop speaking.
Worried about making a solo Prime movie? Start with Orion Pax.
Edit: But put them in the same movie, more content. So much you could do with Optimus. How he rose to leadership, etc. Think "Braveheart".
I am fully erect.
I bet Lorenzo heard about how people praise the cybertron scene in Bumblebee and then thinking that they'll love the full movie set on Cybertron. "Go develop the cybertron movie now! They'll love this!"
stop taking rumours as fact. if so then we would have seen an announcement saying "We canceled the Boba Fett movie we never confirmed"
I\'ll be surprised if this is in the Bayformers universe with how poorly Bumblebee is doing at the box office.
That sounds like it’ll be fun. Hopefully, the animation will be good.
Not last I heard.
The "Bayverse" is dead. Bury it, Lorenzo.
I hope to God Bumblebee makes a jump up at the box office soon. They shouldn't have insisted on putting it up against Aquaman or Into the Spider-Verse, the latter of which isn't doing so well either but better than BB.
I'm happy as a DC fan that Aquaman is doing fantastic, but I'm angry as a Transformers fan, especially since BB is a clear and actually good stealth reboot, that it isn't making good enough money.
Hopefully they won't over-budget it, because fan money is all the box office it will attract. An all-Cybertron, 100% CGI movie won't make half the money Bumblebee will... and Bumblebee ain't exactly gonna break the bank itself.
I thought Solo was good. Great back story, explained a lot about the character and origin, tied many dialogues of older movies together. Rogue was unnecessary. Stand alones do work, but it depends on the audience. Marvel is banking. Different audience though.
Hopefully rivaling studios will learn that the whole "cash in by releasing movies on Christmas time domestically" is a doomed f*cking plan in this current economy.
