It might be the fanboy in me saying this, but I don't see how TRU wouldn't want to release Thundercracker and Blackout. They can't keep Arcee and Ratchet on the shelves around where I live. And depending on if Rodimus and Ironhide are the same way, how could TRU not want these two. I understand that TRU stores aren't getting abundant numbers of Arcees and Ratchets, but the fact is they can't keep them on the pegs. Am I being stupidly optimistic or do I make a little bit of sense.

I am thinking this is more of a Hasbro call then a TRU on these two figures.

From what I gathered in the whole process, Hasbro has the figures, they just need a store willing to take them. And for the Arcee/Ratchet/Rodimus/Ironhide figures is was just that. I forget where I seen this wether it was a online/con Q&A , but Hasbro shopped these around and TRU was the only one who was willing to take a chance on them.

I would love to own Blackout but I'll probably just buy the Takara Version. It would be nice of Hasbro to release them at TRU but I'm not going to wait 3 years for it.

What is Hasbro's current stance on them anyway?

EDIT: Well, that answers my question. Why doesn't Hasbro just use HTS, BBTS, etc and get these toys out!

I already picked up a Takara Blackout, so I'm not that worried about Blackout personally. It would be nice to see it come out, but I'm more worried about Wingblade Prime. That's the last Animated toy I really NEED. Maybe Wasp, but that's it.

But as for the releases, my best guess is that the remaining toys will either be "new mold/repaint" or a 2-pack with "voyager/deluxe".

Don't take what I say as a 100 percent the truth. I'm guessing that Hasbro already has these considering we've seen the figures in various reviews along side the takara releases. I can't imagine though that they would only make a few and call it quits, so that is why I suspect they already have a bunch made.

I hope they don't release them in the US.

My stores are clogged with Arcees and Ratchets.

I do hope they see release. I want TC.

Haven't seen an Arcee yet, but TRU has tons of Ratchet. It's almost as popular at toy as Tuner Mudflap.

flame bait for sure, i hope they release tc, he's the only reason i got skywarp and sunstorm, i was sticking to a no repaint policy on animated unless it was remolded. got takara blackout at tfcon, so not really worried about him, but i still hope he comes out in the US, it's an awesome figure

It would be nice to have Blackout.

My question is, are the TRU exclusives like Target's, if I don't see an Arcee does that mean they got the one shot of them like Target does and will never get anymore?

I'm as big of an animated fan as anyone (only missing the museum exclusive black prime at this point), but I can see why Hasbro has doubts. Releasing new toys based on a cancelled show probably seems like a reach when you can use the same resources to produce something in a new line or thriving line (Generations or HFTD).

I just want TC. I got Takaras Blackout back in June. Poor TC seems to always get she shaft! I only bought Skywarp because of the upcoming TC.

I hoping I don't end up with yet again ANOTHER imcomplete seeker team. I picked up Sunstorm when he was $5 and I got Skywarp and SS in anticipation of TC.

I'm hoping to get Thundercracker as well. I just want the figure released, whether it's in the US or Japan. Here's hoping!

I didn't even TRY with the Animated Seekers, because the chances of ALL of them ever coming out in the same size class was slim to none. Slipstream, Ramjet, and especially Dirge and Thrust will probably never be seen in Voyager price point...

Well if TRU didn't bite maybe Hasbro might end up making them a Comic Con exclusive.
