Exactly, though I like the box art and design. This toy is the new hotness!

Whatever happened to boxes being rectangular? Is it just to cut down on bootlegs?
Its a nice looking item. Thanks for posting it.

I don't know why everyone's complaining about the colours. This just gives Hasbro a chance to release a Target (or TRU or Walmart) Exclusive repaint with G1 colours and squeeze more money out of us collectors. I would bet we'll be seeing that about 4 months after Screamer is released to retail.

    No, he's dark blue-grey.

    http://www.hasbro.com/transformers/animated/default.cfm?page=Bio&character=starscream

color grab info: Pantone 5372C (Midpoint between dark blue and purple)
    RGB Balance: Red - 87, Green - 82, Blue - 126

... Making his toy fairly accurate in colors, if almost too light.

I think it being a photo of SS on a blue background might him him look a lot "bluer" than he might actually be.

I could be wrong, but I'm really excited to see this guy in person to find out! :)

Cool. I was wandering when we would get a decent photo of an in-package Voyager figure. It's interesting that Starscream, and the Deluxes that we've seen (Prime, Prowl, Bumblebee, and Lockdown) in-package, all have the same skill rating of 3. Hopefully there will be some 1's, 2's, and 4's mixed in, or otherwise the skill rating is pointless for this line.

Nice packaging, and figure, its a real shame the colours are not show accurate. I'm sure there will be a gray G1/show accurate repaint further down the line but it really shouldn't be necessary.

eh it is okay i still like the old school boxes to be honest with you! You have to bring that back with the classics. I would rather see that then the universe packaging!

I'm gonna have to break out the grey when I see this guy.

    Otherwise, he looks great.

He is show accurate, in both the show and the toy Starscream appears to switch between grey and bluish grey. depending on the lighting

Because of the color, it would have been better suited as Thundercracker. Just sayin...

meh, its seemed more grey while watching the actual show. its not a huge deal either way, id just prefer it to look less blue. im still sore from the phase of "omg movie megs was frozen at one points that means he must have blue on him cause obviosuly being previously frozen turns metal blue"

Evidently Hasbro studies have determined that kids are attracted to packages comprised of a jumble of angles as opposed to ye olde rectangles. The 2007+ Star Wars cards are even worse, though at least the boxes aren't that crazy.

Interestin'. None for me, thanks, but y'all have fun.
