I've had him for almost two days now and I just noticed that he's developing small cracks on the gray part around the pin that holds it t the black peg with the ball joint. Does anyone else have this problem? Would super glue help? I love this figure and now I'm afraid to transform him...

I know putting the bow in the Sons of Cybertron version was putting stress marks on his thumbs (heating it with a hair dryer removed the stress marks) so I'm not surprised if this happens too.

    Mine doesn't have any cracks.

But he's only been transformed like twice.

No Cracks on mine. He was only Transformed once and then on my Animated Display shelf. That is where he will stay for now on.

I have transformed mine a couple dozen times now and I do not have any cracks. I however do not use the bow at all since I figured it would not be that great for the hands.

I haven't opened mine yet. Do you have a picture of the cracked area or the area where it is cracking. Just for reference for us guys that haven't opened him yet, to watch out for it? Pretty Please?

My Rodimus has some major stress marks on his thumb. Worse than Arcee's. I gently filed his palm and the inner side of his thumb down, so hopefully it doesn't get any worse.

I'll see if I can get a picture, but I can't get my camera to focus on something that small.

i did the same thing. but mine has some plastic issues with the clear parts. some parts got to much plastic and show white marks due to bad cutting job and there is some with to much plastic taken off and show some white but i stuck this plastic glue like stuff and i fixed it up.

I have a line tracing down my Rodimus' thumb, but I don't think that's a crack. It resembles those swirly textures you often find on gray plastic like on ROTF Optimus' legs and Masterpiece Optimus' thighs (seen prominently here)

I certainly hope it isn't a crack, but it concerns me enough to get me to ignore the bow for now (I never liked the bow in vehicle mode in the first place).

Not seeing any problems with mine yet, though I can see it as a concern, given the stress than can be put on the parts during transformation, or especially placing/removing the bow in the hand (none of those 'slide in from the top' workarounds like with Arcee's swords.)

Well this sucks........Hopefully there's a solution like we found for Animated Arcee that doesn't involve not using his cross-bow.

That is pretty extreme man. The hands are fine during transformation and normal posing.

I was afraid something like this would happen. Good thing I messed around with him the first day I got him and put him on the shelf with the rest of his friends. Once I get a second one I'll start transforming him and posing him more with the bow.

I don't have issues with the bow... that's not the problem. It seems what causes it is the stress when you fold the hands up for vehicle mode that does it. Mine's a bit tight... I can't get a clear picture because my camera sucks... but it's not the hand per se, it's the wrist... the gray part.
