i was just thinking that we have seen like no classics and the animated all over ebay. that leads me to belive we might see the animated soon or at least the preview two pack. i could be wrong but doesent the ebay thing mean that they are close?

Realease dates for the UK (April) and Scandinavia (Aug) have been released, no word yet on the US date.

The April release for the UK might account for some of it - of course we'll have different packaging but probably a small run has been done of the first wave to serve as retailer samples. I get the feeling you might be seeing an early release, maybe May or even April, though I wouldn't hold my breath. I'm a pessimist, I believe release dates when I am holding the thing in my hands.

I'm guessing that the different stores in the different countrys want them at different times. The initial delay was because of this (stores wanted more movie product, not a new line).

No, how did you get that from my post? Certain stores don't want Animated for a while, while others want to get a new line instead of more of the Movie stuff. This was the reason for the line being held back in the first place. Stores wanted the movie line to continue, as it's a really popular line.

So, what--Hasbro called you and told you this? Or maybe Wal-Mart?

Seems to me that Hasbro would be the one deciding when things are shipped. And why would Hasbro let some stores decide it's time to carry Animated while others continue to restock Movie stuff?

    exactly.

Either way I think they should do it soon. I could be wrong but weren't there words we'd seem them in June? Sorry that sounds too late, now it may be too early cause it's still building up small hype though it did recieve great ratings. Nonetheless, movie toys are still selling well, they release nothing more but repaints now but ppl are still looking for them. Either way if June is the real release date I think they should bump it up at least by one month.
