spiders, I HATE SPIDERS!!!! why is it always spiders?

Yep! They swivel at the bicep right where the red plastic meets the black, and at the thigh at that black line where the red and off-white plastic meets.

 

But didn't you say in your video review that bending his elbows makes his magnet/tool things pop up into his hands?

 

Yeah. Bending his elbows all the way forward pops his magnets up, until they hit all the way forward they have normal range of motion without popping the magnets. The swivel is on his upper arm, above the elbow.

 

Wo Hoo! He's become my most wanted as of now!

I'm surprised at how much I've been getting into animated, there's quite a few that I'm really looking forward to, moreso than I did with the movie stuff.

I'm waiting to see/find a picture of Lockdowns knees in action, but I think he might be a favourite too.

Just recieved my Ratchet today. Awesome figure!!!!

Although i've got some minor issues with him. First of all his legs tend to easily pop of right at the swivel point at his thigh (where the red and grey plastic meets).

And his backpack, where his tools are stored, in car mode it is the ambulance roof, is very loose. When you shake him a little the backpack tends to fold down again.

Anyone got the same issues? Or am I the only one?  

Any workarounds??

 

There should be a little tab to lock the backpack into place. I'll try to snap a pic later on.

 

I love this guy! Had some more time to play with him a little, I highly recommend him!

Well the roofpiece with the blue sirens ist staying place - connecting with a little tab in ratchets back... activating his automorph.

The larger roof piece, the one with the tools is the one thats bugging me. Its the swivel-joint from the siren roofpiece to the backpack.

That's odd, I just double checked mine, it's nice and tight. Sorry to hear your trouble.  

 

Same here, mine's quite tight. Maybe you could slide a little piece of paper or something in between the panels? Or the old nail polish/glue route.

 

i notice ratchet has a similar robot setup to G1 hoist.

 

Ratchet is gonna make Lockdown pay!

Thanks to Peaugh for the tip on how to attach Lockdowns' EMP to Ratchet. (It fits perfect, just need to trim the little pin in the arm slot with nail clippers)

 

Can Ratchet 's elbows rotate so the hands might somewhat holding together? I wanted to see pose that he does the magnetic field ...
