Yeah it was intentional. The retail prime has these triangular bits jutting out next to where the wheels are on the back of the truck mode. The modified one that would have come with the design wouldn't have had that piece, but it means that the widest point of the original figure would have been at the part of the trailer which dips inwards to have that tool area. I either had a big hole in the side or figured out new detail. To be honest, I might go back to having the hole, I am as yet undecided as that was a placeholder while I worked it out

Well here he is, the first full draft of powermaster prime.

Those with good eyesight may spot that the wings depart a bit from the original unreleased figure design, and that's because quite a bit of reengineering was needed for them to transform, but I think they still look quite good. Due to a poorly designed mounting system and some revised shoulder I'm working on he can't form the vehicle mode quite yet, but the goal would be for a revised fully transforming one will be done in a week. I'm quite happy with how he is shaping up right now

Update: bored so made a quick and dirty digi of the paint apps I plan for the final version

Please. Start a company and Sell. This. Armor. (Or sell the design to one of the add on companies like MakeToys)

Admittedly, I think the arms are a little long, but I can put that aside because I think this is amazing! You're doing amazing work, truly! ^^

I'm hoping to figure out some way to be able to sell a few to those who really want one, I just don't know how to do it "quickly" and at decent quality. It would be so cool to one day sell to a 3p company though

I agree, but the original design did have long arms. I think raising the shoulders slightly will go a long way to improving it

Oh yeah, if you bring the shoulders up just a bit that should even everything out.

Finally got all the engineering sorted out for the parts to fit and tab together in vehicle mode. I did some measurements with the existing test wings so all the parts of this revised design should fit together perfectly and fit onto prime. I am currently unsure what to do about the side detailing, I as I have said before I had to take a design liberty and instead of the tool-dip in the middle I added something of a booster design. The question is do I leave it as is or rework it and add in some of the old detail? Either way, should have a fully transforming version of the armour by friday

I think you're fine to leave it as is. As always though, your work is coming along amazingly! Can't wait to see the transformable armor!

Loving this! My only grip is the arms. They seem a bit to long compared to the concept and just in general. Otherwise, cant wait to see the finished project. :)

Ran out of white filament, and my blue filament is kinda old and has started failing prints so my progress has been delayed. But the arms are finished, joints are sturdy. Legs should be done soon, and backpack is functional but needs a few transformation tweaks. Here's a peak at his weapon though
