Mirage is who Decpticons fear when they recharge their batteries at night. He keeps to the shadows waiting to strike. He doesn’t have a team; he is not part of the Elite Guard. Most Autobots don't even know he exists. He is more a myth than reality and maybe its better that way. I havent done a transformer custom in a while. I have had stealth lockdown on the shelf for a long time rebadged as mirage. To me the colors never seemed right. The maroon and green just did not work. This is a really simple repaint. I used nail polish remover to take the green off. Used clear blue on the windows and body parts. Some baby blue highlights and yellow for the eyes. I think he came out pretty good and fits in to my animated world. Since hasbro canceled animated i guess its up to myself to fill in the ranks. Ill be doing a lot more animated repaints and hope to hone my skills more with each one. Hope y'all enjoy this one, thanks for taking a look. Mark
THAT. IS. AWE. SOOOMMMMEEEEE!!!! I have never even SEEN Stealth Lockdown before, so that is the start of the WIN, and then to see him flipped into Mirage is just sick...and you make it seem so simple, lol...if you managed a bit of a re-sculpt of the face/head, I would have to start scratching change together for a commission of this!
Thanks for the comments... I have never been good at sculpting anything. I usually end up just messing it up. I was looking online for some place that sells transformer heads but nothing came up on google. anyway thanks for the kind words. now im trying to figure out who to repaint sentinel prime as
