Hi! I'm new around here and I wanted to share some pics of my totally repainted Animated Megatron with modified fusion cannon and mouth.

Looks great! This mold really benefits from the metallic finish and the extra detail that the "weathering" adds to it.

I like the new face. The smirk is perhaps a bit whimsical and "Starscream-esque", but the new proportions for the face look very good.

I ove how the damaged, realistic style blends so well with Animated's designs. Nice work!

 

looks awesome, always struck me that the mouth gimmick though cool does detract from the look of the face

wow! the red really stands out! like teh smirk as well

 

Nice paint work! The weathered look fits very well with this character. I especially like the added detail with the inner legs painted red, nice touch!

The cannon is removable from his arm and can be reattached to the plate that originally held it via another peg =)

I used epoxy putty to resculpt and then just painted it.
