Megatron must be a horrible dance because he's got two left legs. I found him in Wal*mart yesterday and couldn't resist him (gf got Bumblebee). When I got him home, the right leg popped right off. No biggie, I figure it's supposed to, but every time I transform him back to his alt mode, the leg would pop off or fit really badly. I check it out and he's got two left legs and they don't fit together at all even though they look the same. I'm gonna go return it though, there's no way I can fix this. At least Bumblebee was fine. Has anyone else had this problem?
No, but when the stuff first started to come out I had the misfortune of getting one that ACTUALLY had two left legs. I exchanged it for a corrected one.
Is there any way to see if your megs is defective in the box? does the two left leg thing stand out in alt mode?
Yes, it's very obvious. The alt mode will look like an ugly pile of bad plastic. ....Wait a minute, maybe it's not that obvious after all.
Same thing happened to me, but mine was not bought at retail. More like when I purchased via ebay and came with 2 right legs. The ebayer was gracious enough to replace a new one for me and exchanged for a perfect one.
that is the stupidest cannon mount design ever he would be so much better if it actually clipped straight to his arm ala g1 and deluxe animated.
Yeah, part of me is hoping that I'm ******ed and didn't read the instructions right. But man, I fiddled with it for an hour before coming to the conclusion that it is possibly THE worst design ever.
Sorry to bump this, but got Megs last night. The cannon is just... wrong. There is no phisical way to transform it like instructions show!
Guess i'm more forgiving about it, coz i'm one of the very small minority that likes Voyager Megs alot. The cannon doesn't bug me as much, though, there are times when i wish that Leader Megs had the same sized cannon. Or maybe they could swap sizes to make the voyager less top heavy...
I'm with you zero. I quite like my Voyager Megs. There are ways around the cannon problem, such as simply rotating the arm and fist around. It's not a perfect fix, but it's not that bad either. Leader Megs could definitely benefit from having an equally huge cannon. His looks quite small and wimpy on him.
