As the title suggests: it's a battle between Animated LD and Movie LD

Who had the best voice actor?

    Who had the better design?

    Who had the best dialogue?

    Who had the better weapons?

Who managed to capture Prime more efficiently?

    My opinion:

Who had the best voice actor? Animated

Who had the better design? Movie

Who had the best dialogue? Movie

Who had the better weapons? Movie

Who managed to capture Prime more efficiently? Animated

Who had the best voice actor? Mark Ryan was actually VERY good as Lockdown...But Lance. You can't beat that laugh.

Who had the better design? Toss up. Part of me wants to say Animated, if only because he has more color to him, and some more visible car parts.

Who had the best dialogue? A little unfair, as I saw the movie not too long ago. I guess Movie.

Who had the better weapons? I love chainsaws...But the face cannon is such a unique thing...I pick Facegun.

Who managed to capture Prime more efficiently? Toss up. Both captured Prime, but both failed to hold onto him when the rescue team came. Though, Animated Lockdown did at least beat most of the team back.

I'd say Animated had the better voice.

In terms of design I really liked the Movie.

In terms of dialogue I think the movies got quite a good amount.

    Weapons, I'd say movie.

I'd also say Animated in terms of who captured Optimus.

As good as Henriksen was as the voice for Animated Lockdown, it was still a very cartoony voice. Ryan nailed the voice for the live action look. Overall movie Lockdown had the better design- symmetrical and just an amazing looking robot. He definitely had the better arsenal of weapons in the movie, and was the biggest threat we have seen in the live-action movies. His dialogue was also amazing in the movie, so I will also give him the nod here. But, if it was for Animated Lockdown, we would have never gotten movie Lockdown, so some inspiration certainly helped.

    Voice actor: Movie

    Better Design: Movie

    Dialogue: Movie

    Weapons: Movie

Capturing Prime: Movie was more fun to watch. But animated had no trouble much.

    Animated-voice was just awesome.
Animated-Just love the muscle car and the designs that made it look like he had tattoos.
Movie- The way he used words were very chilling.
    Movie-Gunface beats Chainsaw every time.
Both-Movie was fun to watch, while animated was just creepy to watch.

Who had the best voice actor? Animated LD. Ryan did a fine job, but you can't beat classic Lance.

Who had the better design? Animated LD is much more striking, but the movie design is fine for what it is, and it better fits that character's personality.

Who had the best dialogue? Movie LD got some pretty good lines, which is quite a feat for a movie villain, so I'll give credit there.

Who had the better weapons? Animated, though gun-face is always fun.

Who managed to capture Prime more efficiently? Movie LD had a bit more of challenge in Movie Prime, while Animated Prime is comparatively much weaker.

I think they're both very good for what they are, since they are also very different characters.

    Voice? Animated
Design? Movie, though some more colour would be nice.
    Dialogue? Movie
Weapons? Movie, his ship seems to store a lot of gruesome assets.
    Capture Prime? Maybe Animated.....

Who had the best voice actor? Mark Ryan. Animated Lockdown's smooth, very edgy-sounding voice was cool, but, judging by his performances as Bumblebee, Jetfire, and the character in question, Mark Ryan is nearly impossible to beat in terms of voice acting. Maybe it's because I'm a sucker for British accents, but Movie Lockdown wins this for me.

Who had the better design? It's a hard choice for me. I love the movie aesthetic and Movie Lockdown as a very cool, very human look to him that screams bounty hunter, but I love how Animated looks like he's made up of the parts of his victims, which gives him a sense of horror and being disturbing. I'd have to say Movie, though.

Who had the best dialogue? Movie, definitely. Those first lines he speaks as he approaches Ratchet are some of the best dialogue I've ever heard in Transformers.
"Autobots, Decepticons... like little children: always fighting, making a mess out of the universe, and I'VE got to clean it up!"

Who had the better weapons? Movie Lockdown. Gunface FTW.

Who managed to capture Prime more efficiently? Movie Lockdown. The straps secured Optimus well enough in "Thrill of the Hunt", but the guy who managed to secure the fragging DINOBOTS secured for millions of years deserves the win.

Mark Ryan had a great voice for his character, but Lance's was perfect and continues to be my definitive Lockdown voice.
More unique design, even though I love AOE's, like, a lot.
I'm basing dialogue off their motivations. For Animated, it's just another job. For AOE, he's working for his and Optimus' creators. Leading to some awesome dialogue, such as "You were built to do what you were told" and "I've travelled whole galaxies, and every species I encounter is the same. You all think you're the centre of the universe. You have no idea." For a Bay movie, Lockdown was incredible, so I gotta give him the vote there.
Animated captured Prime more efficiently and better defended his bounty when the Autobots arrived.
