    Leader Bulkhead is (probably) the last of my 'Ebay early Animated specials', arriving right around the time I could potentially find the same toy in the stores.

    Overall, pretty excellent in a "better in person" kinda way. More cartoon-accurate than the voyager in some ways, less in others. I'll need some time before a favorite arises though.

    Pros:
    * It's a great-looking Bulkhead, with a tiny touch of extra badass.

    * The transformation is involved without being needlessly complicated

    * Rock-solid and non-floppy in both modes. Even the back-flap thingies can lock into place.

    * Electronic gimmicks are nice and relatively non-annoying. Extra points for using actual show voice clips.

    Cons:

    * My Bulkhead is unfortunately missing the little crest on top of his head. I've noticed this on several of the early-release toy photos. I'm working on crafting a replacement out of Sculpey.

    * The facial-movement doesn't quite work the way it should, at least on mine.

    * I'm not a fan of the saw, and will probably be removing it.

    It's a nice toy where all my complaints may be flukes or my own basic preferences.

    Nice review. I'm still on the fence about this figure. I already have the voyager and activators versions, and right now, I don't have the space or money for him. Still, he's a great figure.

    I still need Prowl so this might be the way to go for me. Prime and BA should be the same as well right? Good times I need her too.
