Hey all. Was bored (yet again), and decided to see how Animated Grimlock would look like in his G2 counterparts color scheme. I actually like it, though I'm not sure if I would want to see a repaint of the toy like that (wouldn't mind Classics Grimlock in these colors though). I decided to do some more. This is kind of a Grimlock Through the Ages type of thing. It's Animated Grimlock in all the different color schemes the character's been in (well, at least all the one's I know of). I thought this might interest some of you. It was definetly something I was interesting in seeing. Any comments out there? I might put up each one by itself tommorow. For now, here is all of them in one group shot. I'm not sure why, how, or even if photobucket does this, but it seems that they somehow make every large image I upload there smaller in the process. The group picture is actually a bit larger than that. I'll be putting up the indevidual versions, so those should stay the same size when I upload them. Thanks. Ooo, nice. How about that unreleased G2 color scheme of orange with like blue tiger stripes? That one was all sorts of awesomeness. (even though I know, unlike these, it was never official.)
Thanks. If Hasbro makes an Activators version of Grimlock, I might get one to repaint in the G2 colorsceam. I've also got a kitbash idea for the Voyager Grimlock, but the modding is a bit out of my league, and I'm not sure if I would be able to do it or not (would be cool imo though).
It's not a huge difference to the look of Animated Grimlock, but this is want I'm thinking of doing to the Voyager Grimlock toy that we're getting once it comes out. It doesn't fit in with the Animated Universe, as there currently is no Matrix in the continuity (yet, it could still exist somewhere). This is what I think Grimlock would look like if he got the Matrix and took over as Leader of the autobots. King Grimlock-
Dude, these grimlocks kick arse. I love the RiD green one.. makes me think it should be called "Jungle Camo" Grimlock for some reason.
I really like the animated Grimlock with the Beast Wars colorscheme. I always did like Beast Wars Grimlock (the toy sucked, but he was awesome in the comics).
Thanks guys . This isn't Grimlock, nor is it a homage to any past TF (not on purpose anyways). It's just an idea I might do in the future. It's one of many ideas that I've had for a kitbash idea I've had since I started collecting. It's basically a what if I was a TF, what I would look like. I've had plenty of ideas in the past, but this could be the one I execute. The current name for the project is Sigma, but that could change to something more fitting. What do you guys think?
Any opinions, suggestions about my Sigma idea? I'm still trying to find a mold that I could use for this bash, so any suggestions on either what mold I should use, or what features I should look for in a mold for the project, or anything else that can help me move it along, would be great. Here's a faction symbol for the Dinobots that I just finished, though I might go back and do some more work on it. It's not really specific for any one era, but more of a faction symbol for all the different Dinobots. Thanks for any help with my Sigma project. I'm thinking I would probably fit in the best with the Dinobots, just not sure what dino-mode would fit my personality/body build.
