First is my humble repaint of the female Starscream clone. This was my second attempt at repainting and the first attempt with spray painting, needless to say... it was a learning experience.

In the end: my god, those are some beefy arms for a chick. Can you guys offer some suggestions on who I can steal more suitable arms from? Where it wouldn't be too difficult to replace, since I've never frankenstein'd a TF before?

Have you tried just modifying the arms a tad - slimming them down with a knife and such?

I think the easiest thing to do would be to cut and sand down the arms you already have there, instead of replacing them. That said I cant' help find you a replacement set since I don't have animated toys to look at and see how they'd look on that body.

Plenty of animated figs would work. Blurrs' arms, maybe Jazzs'. Thighs too. Prowl? Since it doesnt matter where the arm cannons go, they could work. The arms of that figure do not affect the alt mode so the possibilities are endless. Good luck!

The paint job looks nice, tho I suggest modding the head to remove the massive chin so she looks more feminin.

The problem with shaving down those big ol' "guns" is they are pretty complicated with a ton of screws in them. Honestly I can't tell why the upper arm has so many screws, but below is a pic from the back.

Hmmmmmm..... Jazz? We may have a winnar! I'll take a look at the proportions and see how well it works out. Also I feel silly for not thinking of this earlier, but why not Blackarachnia? Although her's may be too dainty compared to the the rest of the figure.

Edit: Blackarachnia totally does not work. Arms go from unnaturally buff to unnaturally scrawny. I'm wondering about those birthin' hips, which are close in size... still, like the articulation of Starscreams thighs. Jazz is much more promising, with the arms more appropriately sized.

Sadly enough, I did shave down the chinnage, and what remains is still massively chintacular. I stopped at the hole to screw the head together. *shakes head* It would probably help if the mouth was lower, but that's a scary mod for a newbie.

Edit part 2: Lies, all lies. Sorry. Head was shaved down but only to the base of the helmet. So, there is still room for more of a trim. IIRC, I was worried about the helmet ending up deformed looking.

Thanks everyone on the feedback and suggestions!

Nice job so far! Keep it up. I think you'll end up with a pretty good custom.

Try sanding down some of the hard edges to make it look more feminine. Also, you could improve the head by making the chin shorter but pointier and putting some lines around the eyes. Otherwise you're off to a great start with this custom.
