i totally agree, i was expecting to have nothing to buy for months, the gf was looking forward to no more plastic in the house too.

 

ok...this has to be real...which means...GOD DAMN IT KMART!!!!

 

I have connections with my local Kmart(*cough*mom*cough*),
and the only thing they've received in the last few weeks are some screen battle and fast action battlers.

I'll probably know the minute my local Kmart gets anything animated in, and I get a 10% discount.

(note: it takes awhile for anything to get up here it seems, I don't think I've seen any allspark stuff)

 

Huh. Maybe someone got a cheap one off of ebay and returned it? The hell? The UPC DOES match, so that's just....huh. I'm going to be a little pissed if I just worked so hard to get some of these off of ebay and the June 22 date is complete horseshit. Not super pissed, since the toys are totally awesome and worth the little bit extra I paid for them, but still.

a simple explanation, maybe a bulkhead got put in a case accidentally and ended up on the shelf. or more likely a full case got accidentally sent over with movie cases.

I wanted to get that tax rebate the nice mister president is promising us(Americans) first, so I could use it on animated and maybe universe,

 

I think it’s legit because receipt, box, upc match. But I think it’s either a mistake on Hasbro’s part in shipping it early to stores or mistake on Kmart’s part in putting it out early. Either way, we now know for sure Hasbro has these ready to go. Why they want to hang on to it til June is a mystery.

 

We've known that they've been ready to go. They were supposed to be out by now. Hasbro delayed it because retailers wanted more movie stuff.

 

i wonder if bits and pieces of animated stuff will trickle into stores by mistake over the next few months?

 

I personally think they should have at lease released the Battle Pack early.
Even more so considering that the DVD that comes with it contains promotional material that's meant to draw the kiddies in.

 

Well, nothing too exciting, I was planning on getting the Leader class Bulkhead anyway for scale issues. I wouldn't mind finding Voyager Prime or Starscream though. . .
Will keep my eyes peeled.

We know we're getting a Voyager Prime. He was shown at toyfair and has been confirmed. He's just in a different wave.

 

Well, unless there were other evidence that I missed (a statement by Hasbro regarding retailers and movie stuff?), what we speculate was that the stuff were ready to go because of a lot of the MISB animated stuff were appearing on ebay. But there is a debate of whether these ones appearing on ebay were factory duds which caused Hasbro to push back the date because they needed to fix the problems. So we didn’t not know for sure yet based only on the ebay auctions.

 

Shh... before Hasbro finds out and shuts it down! If Animated gets out there now (like we expected) all their movie repaints become shelf-warmers. At least to an extent of more than if they didn't have to compete with Animated.
