Mine were in the usual Nintendo endcap Amiibo spot.

So I stayed on my Nook tour well past the point of all self respect and certainly into sunk-cost-fallacy territory but finally got a Golden Stag last night.

Just need a flea and the insect collection is complete!

The flea thing is weird, when I started playing last year it seemed like there was always someone itchy with fleas. Now I can’t remember the last time I saw an itchy villager, several months at least.

My critterpedia is two underwater creatures away from being complete. Ive sunk so many hours into diving trying to get them, which isn’t the least bit fun. Its like getting those last couple hundred koroks in BotW- I know I can do it but it’s completely joyless.

I used to get them somewhat often but didn't know that's how you collected the fleas. Haven't really played much since they came back in season in April.

I didn't have too much trouble with the sea creatures. The fast ones are hard to catch - I found the only way to get them was to drive them towards a corner and then they can't escape.

Never bothered with all the Korok seeds myself. The amount you need to get all the inventory upgrades was enough for me!

The sea creatures have been easy for the most part. I got all but the last two weeks in just a couple of months after they added them with very little dive time spent. But whatever these last two are, the game just doesn’t want to spawn them for me. I’ve spent like 90% of my diving time just on those last two.

It’s like there are spawn glitches. Golden armor recipe never spawns for anyone on my island (four of us play) and my wife STILL hasn’t caught a single coelacanth and she’s been trying since April 2020.

Anyone have a termite mound I can have?
In return, I'll let you raid my DIY collection. You can learn/take as many as you want in one visit. I think I have around 150-200 laying around. I think its the only thing preventing me from a 5 Star island aha

Interestingly enough, Animal Crossing is getting a new Amiibo deck set.

Now, with every current villager and npc already having cards through out the 4 sets and how each set is almost 100 cards, many believe with recent datamining (villager species slots with photo sayings that don't match current villager photos) that besides the newly added villagers for ACNH we could see a return for the many forgotten villagers from Animal Forest and Animal Forest E+. Possibly even the rest of the Nintendo Crossover Villagers.

I’ve always wondered why the game doesn’t allow you to at least sacrifice one of your playable character spaces for another villager. What is the max number of playable characters per island anyway? We have four on ours.

    Also BREWSTER!!

Max space for players is 8 players per island.

EDIT: It's 4, the other 4 are visiting players.

And I agree man, if somebody wanted to join when all spots are taken, a simple forced move out like amiibo campsite move ins would have worked.

I mean the orignal game had the default of 15 villagers, 10 plus 4 optional would be doable. I guess though they did make the islands smaller than the original though even if they are slighty bigger than New Leaf.

I hope they re-release the RV series as well, or add them in series five.

I believe you can only get them as prizes from the Bug off. Can anyone confirm?

    Yup, they are Bug-Off prizes.

They are given to you in a set order and once you collect all of the items it becomes random each time.

Once you get to that point, get lots of points, save before talking to flick and keep turning off/on the game if its a prize you don't want.

Honestly I have gotten 3 Termite Mounds in a row with this method.

Want to know what that house icon on the roost sign is for. Is there another shop in the roost?

The main theory is Gyroid storage, it looks like the house has 134 on it. Which the assumption is the amount of gyroids total. ACNL had 131 Gyroids, it wouldn't be much for a new 3 piece set to be included.
