Ok, I figured out something else I'd like to see as a quality of life improvement in a future update.

I have over 200K Nook Miles. Can we please have an Order in Bulk option for Nook Miles Tickets and Bell Vouchers so we don't have to sit here for over three hours just redeeming stuff with our Nook Miles when we have so many surplus Miles?

I mean seriously, I'll never get under 250K miles at the rate it takes to redeem miles, really stupid that there isn't a bulk option for at least these two items. Maybe it would be too difficult to program for just two items, though I would have thought it would be easy.

I just don't have time to waste redeeming miles hours at a time to clear out all this excess. At least make some unique items that are worth 100K so we can get rid of them. I mean we can accumulate miles so easy and fast, why can't we redeem them without taking two days just to clean out our entire excess miles?

 

Yeah I’ve wanted that for a long time. If I let a villager leave and want to go island hopping to hunt for a new villager I know I’m going to spend an hour buying tickets. Part if the problem is you have to slog through the rambling text for every single one. I see no reason they couldn’t allow you to purchase 5 at a time like customization kits, wrapping paper, etc.

Fun Fact, Warp Pipes work INSIDE YOUR HOUSE. That is so cool, I can now warp from my basement to anywhere on my island, this is the best fast travel EVER, please don't nerf this after March 31st Nintendo.

 

I LOVE the pipes. I keep one in my house (far north) and one by the town square. I also gave some to villagers, and even though they have them placed in their homes it doesn’t allow me to warp there.

 

Ok what the hell? I popped 300 balloons according to Nook Miles, WHERE THE HELL IS MY GOLD SLINGSHOT RECIPE?

 

You get it via a golden balloon, you either missed it or it hasn't spawned yet. Just keep an eye out.

 

That is Bullshit. Oh, by the way, pop 300 balloons and the NEXT ONE is going to be 100% your Golden Slingshot recipe. But if you miss it, fuck you, pop 300 again. WTF? I saw at least eight more balloons after popping 300, four yellows, a green, a red, a blue and a Sky Egg Balloon with Recipe instead of Sky Egg. Not a single Golden Baloon. And I thought spawn rates were better during Egg Day balloon nonsense.

Fuck Nintendo's arbitrary BS to get the golden tools. I got the Golden Axe recipe so far and that is it, none of the other ones after playing a year of this game. It should just be a new Nook Miles download from the Nook Stop, none of this jumping through hoops fuck. I mean the Golden Tools also break anyway so it isn't like we get them permanently. I am so fucking pissed off about this right now, it's not even funny.

 

Wouldn’t stress about it too much, googled it and apparently people are reporting a return of the golden balloon in a couple days. Doubt you have to pop the full 300 balloons again  

 

I’m really regretting getting my daughters all hyped up for these. I saw so much poo-poo about them on the internet I didn’t think they’d sell out instantly. They never once showed as in stock at any Target store around here. 

I was frustrated by this too. When I hit 299 I paid super close attention, popped one more and then waited at the beach for the next balloon, assuming it would be the golden balloon. It didn't spawn, just a regular balloon. After another hour of regular balloons I gave up. It took over a week to finally get the golden one.

My daughter hit her golden balloon milestone prior to that and hers DID spawn right after the 300th one.

 

Updated the dream address again. (posted a few pages back) Added a manga store and we updated the movie theatre a little.

The whoopee cushions are showing up in the town hall shop if your looking for it.

 

Ok, stressing down now. Not up. Will get it, and then I'll just have to figure out how to get all the other golden tools. What a hassle. You'd think after all the digging I've done I'd at least have a Gold Shovel by now, or hey, how about the gold fishing rod and net... no wait, I still haven't caught everything yet. I do wish Scorpion Island or Tarantula Island would show up one night.

you need to help Gulliver (not Gullivarr) 30 times to get the golden shovel sent to you in the mail
You need a 5 star island to get the golden watering can from Isabelle
You need to break an axe 100 times to get the golden axe


From my understanding, Scorpion/Gold Rock island only spawns during scorpion spawn season. It also is a 1% encounter.

Ya the thing is, these were made for New Leaf, but only for Japan and that was 10 years ago. These cards have been a rare commodity to the games and for the first time, they've been re-published for western consumers and more easy access for Europeans.

 

Anyone else think that getting the golden shovel is a bit excessive? At a spawn rate of once every two weeks that Gulliver appears it would take nearly 14 months to earn the golden shovel recipe. I get that the shovel is the most useful tool in the game but having to work for more than a year for the golden shovel is ridiculous.

 

I mean, the same goes for the net and rod, since you need to wait a year's time to collect all the seasonal creatures.

But I get your point, I myself didn't realize the time it took to get it.

The last one I need is the axe, which I find to be the hardest to get, since I don't naturally find myself wanting to spend time breaking axes in a row.

 

I get Gulliver quite often for some reason. Once per week at least and frequently twice per week. Last week he was here Sunday and Wednesday. Then Gullivarrr was here Friday.

Kicks on the other hand is MAYBE once per month. I actually don’t remember the last time he was here, and I still play daily. It sucks because I want to complete some Zap outfits and only Kicks has the Zap boots. He’s never had them yet, and with his infrequent visits it makes the chances even more slim. I dont know why he cant just set up a permanent shop. Its lame how New Leaf has more shops than this one, it makes town feel so sparse.
