The Bay movies had some ugly designs I'll give you that.

I think at first they definitely WOULD need the Autobots for protection, but the Autobots won't always be around to protect them so It would be greatly beneficial for the militaries around the world to learn / develop methods to deal with these aliens on their own, it wouldn't be as easy as fighting fellow humans, but it could be done. I don't think that idea's really all that unreasonable.

Otherwise without the Autobots we'd mostly be doomed.

Well, this is on the way.

I'm one of the fans who enjoyed the first two Bayverse films and the Bayverse designs in general, and wasn't too impressed with the Bee movie.

Here's hoping this new film will provide both fanservice for the veteran fans and something fresh for new fans. Best of luck Mr Soto.

That's basically the story of tf lol, without the autobots we're doomed. It works perfectly. We don't need a story about the US army and how it can beat tfs.

Human interactions should be smart imo, not directly killing tfs lol.

Let's not forgot Lennox was able to kill Blackout with a grenade launcher in the first film. The military was already capable of killing cybertronians.

Honestly the Autobots being there to help out is just overkill if you think about it. In ROTF's opening they dispatched a couple cons without trouble.

The picture that I posted had the prime theme song play on his story and also a TFP Optimus model dance on his story. There was no TFP figures.

Because the only thing Michael Bay loves as much as explosions and scantily dressed women, is fetishization of the US Military.

It'd be nice if they did TF6 to finish up the Unicron thing, but that's a pipedream now I'm sure.

Really appreciate these two posts. Thank you.

I love the Bayverse, and I love G1, and I'm looking forward to whatever 'verse comes next.

The best part of the article though were the words from his mum. How sweet :)

Well as i said before , Paramount would never continue the bayverse since it will be basically sucide for them , IF they really want to continue it then they would have to risk a lot but yeah.

I think Humans would need to capture a TF weapon realize they can't reproduce one and later create a machine that can aim and pull the trigger, before they could take down a TF. The Armor that a TF has can be extra Dimensional. But that's why Bay's designs wouldn't work, his designs had no armor.

Yea it's a disgusting ad for young and dumb kids that fall for that trap. A lot of movies featuring the military usually are. What happened to the movies that were against wars and what a scam joining the military really is?

It's actually a shame that a movie that's also aimed at kids can do such a thing, even more so when it's a franchise I actually liked.

Let's hope the upcoming movie is good and does a better job with it than the bay movies

That's reaching, trying to accurately depict the U.S. military shouldn't be considered 'fetishization' my dude. Also I'm pretty sure a lot of that stuff was done to simply get access to legit army vehicles and there's nothing wrong with being on good terms with the army.

It's usually 'young and dumb' kids who don't understand how the military function and the complexity of how and why wars are fought.

Furthermore this isn't a thread (or site) to talk about your beefs with the real world military either and I'm not sure where you and @TheSuperion got that impression from, so how about we stick to talking about the toy robot movie and step off the soapbox.
